@Lowgradenarcolepsy In theory yes. But the numbers are so large. Most cars have about 55 microns of clear laquer applied. If you used a machine polisher and a strong compound the MOST you'd remove is 5 microns. So that means you'd have to machine polish your car 11 times before you damage the paint. Most cars are lucky if they get machine polished once in their lifetime. A good question though and worth highlighting.
My parents' car has had a slightly creepy suncream handprint on it that has lasted over 10 years 🤣 they'll be shocked when i get it off for them
It will be gone in seconds. You can tell them it cost thousands to remove 😀
Thank you 👍
You are welcome sir
By taking off some of the laquer isn’t the paint less resistant to future damage?

@@HobTecCarsAnswers the question to what the little grubbers(kids)put on the paint, was thinking it was Playdoh or something...cheers!
Does this apply to other creams or random products that might have caused stains like these?
Thanks for the comment. It should work for all creams, moisturiser, etc. Suncream is generally the hardest to remove.
Amazing thank you
No problem 😊
