The jeep looks nice , it’s comfortable and I wouldn’t take the Prado over the jeep

I used to own a D4D Turbo Diesel. IMHO, Toyota is durable, yes. But I don't intend to get stuck with the same vehicle for 15 even 20 years. Where's the fun in that! Jeep may not be as reliable (at least according to some), but if used reasonably, it will give you at least 10 years until you decide to get a newer one. It is better looking by far too. So really it comes down to : Expensive yet durable and long lasting or, won't last as long yet a lot less expensive, giving you the option to always have a newer car more often. If they're both the same price, i'd be stupid not to go with Toyota. But the price difference, racing power and cosmetic factor is worth going for the Grand Cherokee.
But "the most awarded SUV ever" is not the Toyota, it`s the Grand Cherokee. Greetings from Costa Rica.

I have had a grand Cherokee 2014 since 2015 and the only thing that it needed was the change tires and wipers , that's all

Landcruiser will not be quicker than the hemi. But the cruiser (lc. Landcruiser) is the better 4x4 to own for the next 20 years with out any thing going wrong..

Petrol vs diesel. I mean it's obvious but the Prado would win if it has the 4.0L V6 option even with a less hp but with more tourq and it's a petrol engine as well

I think the drag race is cool but definitely not the deciding factor. What is every service going to cost you and how reliable is the Jeep at 200000km and also which vehicle will be worth more at that mileage? Let me know when you want to do more off road tests. My farm is next to Komati.

Not trying to be rude or anything but the amount of bullshit this bloke is saying is not true. Most jeeps are towed most of the time then driving and just because it won a drag race, doesn't mean that it ticks all the boxs at all. My Mum owns a Toyota landcruiser (prado) for 5+ years now and hasn't really had a problem at all beside forgetting to swap the battery box and the back tyres from skids.Plus on the sidenote its better buying a 6 year old toyota landcrusier and and putting 10k worth of performance mods on it instead of buying the new improved one or the jeep.

This is so stupid. Why would you drag race a 4x4 SUV which is suppose to be driven offroad in a low range gearbox? Realistically, the only drag racing you are going to be doing is from 0 to 45km to a redlight. Such a waste of a time review.
