  • We are seeing a real split between Facebook ads and Instagram ads right now...
    And it's the complete opposite of what we saw 8 or so years ago.
    In this video, I share with you the data that confirms that Facebook ads cost is cheaper than Instagram ads cost.
    I also explain why that is happening - it has a lot more to do with perception than actual results.
    And I explain what this means for your Facebook ad campaigns and Instagram ad campaigns. Including how to adjust your meta ads strategy given this change.

    Great info! Eye-opening results for me when comparing ads on Facebook and Instagram ads. I'm an indie author and everyone swears Insta is the place to sell books. Apparently, for my books, not so. And also clear is everyone is buying on their phones. Another great video!

    Hi Ben, let say I have one CBO campaign with 2 ad sets (each adset has 2 ads). One adset is interests- based & the other one is LLA. The result with interests-based made hundres of sales, meanwhile with LLA only made 20-30 sales
    Would you kill LLA's adset then just let interests-based adset run alone? So it will make me running one CBO campaign with only 1 winning adset with two ads. Let me know what you think.

      @rogueoctobervisualz5723 with my clients, I always try to shoot for a 50% no-show rate or lower. First, make sure you're not booking more than 2 days out, 3 at the absolute most. If you're further out, then that consider getting another closer or someone that can fulfill the offer. Get their cell in the app during the booking and text them each day before the call or at least every other day to stay engaged. Offer them something free if they show up to the call like a pdf book, small video training, or whatever you think will work best for your target audience. After they book have homework videos on the thank you page to get them to continue to engage and prep before the call. Hope that helps.

    Everyone should test both platforms and then decide which one gets better/cheaper results. That’s it. Nothing new here.
    Also it’s vital to understand who your customers are and where they spend their social time. Again - basic marketing stuff.
    Another thing that I’m seeing is sth like a herd mentality taking place “oh, my friends are doing Instagram now. So I should do the same… because everyone’s doing it right now. There has to be something in it!”.
    Well… quite often it’s just not how the things really are.
    So: test, compare, use whatever medium works for YOU - not for the others.

    Thats interesting. At the moment, my clients are getting way cheaper CPM on IG than FB. It is probably because of our target audience, which is much younger and they are way more present on platforms like IG and Tiktok.
    But indeed, FB still a relevant platform.
    What are your thoughts about audience network?
    And which target audience do you use for the example showed in the video, if you don't mind sharing?

    • @jasonadragna8857
      @jasonadragna8857 Год назад

      I'm seeing the same thing on IG vs FB even with an age range of 30 to 50. Facebook still can work.
      If you don't mind me chiming in I haven't seen any tangible results from audience network with my clients. I should say I haven't targeted audience network in a while though.
      Audience targeting has always been a challenge. I'm actually going into final development of an app that allows companies to collect their client's or customer's facebook interest and then use the common interest amongst the people that have purchased from them to find like-minded people. Its shown great results across the board in testing with my clients. Plus it makes setting up the targeting a lot easier and you don't have to guess anymore. It's always really interesting seeing the different targeting across my different clients. Even clients that do the same thing will have different common interests amongst their clients. Shows how different people are more likely to click on someone else's ad vs another. One of my client's top 2 interests amongst 20 submissions from his clients was Toddler 😆. No media buyer would have ever targeted toddler for this client.

    • @jasonadragna8857
      @jasonadragna8857 Год назад +1

      @@strifestudio There are lots of things that can affect the length of testing. You'll need to test multiple ads and multiple targeting options. You should also consider what is the max funds you can allocate toward testing on Facebook and Instagram out of the total marketing budget. Unless I see an ad completely tanking with really bad CPMs, very low CTR, and no sales that contradict the Facebook data then I will turn those ads off after a day or two. That's an extreme case though. Most of the time I like to give an ad at least 3 to 5 days of spend or $30 to $50. I typically will test at $10 to $20 a day depending on the budget. If you're dealing with a high total budget of over $5000 a month or more then you might be able to allocate more to testing. If you have a good ad that's bringing sales then I keep about 75% of the budget there and use the rest for testing. Targeting is always a pain with ads. I'm actually finishing up development of a tool that allows companies to collect their customer's or clients' facebook interests. Then use that data in targeting common interests and layering down to the best audience. It's shown pretty promising results so far. One of my best clients saw a 30% increase in sales after we implemented interest-based targeting from her client's submissions. Let me know if there is anything else I can help with.

      @@ronaldo19832 Same across the board for my clients. Most of my client's targeting is 30 to 50 and Instagram is outperforming Facebook across the board. Totally my opinion but I think people are so used to ads on facebook they just ignore them. Unless it's a crazy amazing eye-catching ad that is directly targeted at them.
