I have to admit I like the twist that the Vault isn't full of treasures in a traditional sense but more in a metaphorical sense. It shows that the Riches are good people who value their loved ones. I love that twist
It's also a nice lesson that a person is only rich with love and compassion; and not money. You can be the wealthiest person in the world and think you're greater than everybody else. When in reality it's the opposite because you would feel the constant feeling of being empty inside. I know I probably read a little too deep into that.
@@nickdorenkamp959 No I agree that's why I like the twist. I mean it's not an uncommon twist but i like it when it's show physically. Just makes it seem more impactful
@@CaptainCat101 it's two different situations though Rachel left because she got an opportunity to act in Hollywood to pursue her dream. Tamara left because of not wanting to be a part of someone else's video like background characters
That part with the CGI face on the computer would've been the perfect time for Doug to reference "We are Nintendo you can not beat us" but then again this review came out before that one commercial special where he played that so maybe he didn't know about at the time who knows
"people of today would hate this movie about rich people" The fact the nostalgia critic video came out nine years ago is funny considering the current day social economy
16:02, 16:25 nice, The Incredibles (1 & 2), as well as The Iron Giant. i also know 2 other films on regarding writing kids: To Kill a Mockingbird and The Sandlot.
I like that you guys still enjoyed the film. This nostalgia critic was more of character separated from Doug. I still cringe at his Good Burger and Scooby Doo reviews. Good video.
If the makers of this movie were smarter, they would have not only made this film when Culkin was younger, but they would have made the other kids characters from Harvey Comics; like imagine if Lotta was the fat kid. Maybe those characters would have been more distinctive and could have even had the potential for a spin-off.
I get the reference, though frankly, the word can serve as a double entendre, but it could also just specifically be referencing Citizen Kane. However, I don't know why you are sorry for those who do know the reference, and it comes across as rather snarky. For myself, even though I know the reference, it doesn't mean I appreciate it because I am not a fan of the film Citizen Kane. I prefer Orson Welles' other films.
@autoconleadereclipsemegapax I can guarantee you that I would never be mad at you for something like that. There's a lot of things from today that people would probably feel that I should be familiar with, but I don't always share the same interests, so I am not familiar with them. Also, I apologize for misunderstanding the comment.
So I know this is not the discord but I feel like yall would love to react to Kentucky ballistics but just as a thought but still yall are fun to see react
@ I know that now I just made a comment about how annoying that is that WB can’t handle people giving their opinions on said movie from the 1990,s I mean seriously it’s really old movie at this point just let them react to it in a way where we can also see the whole screen along with the renegades themselves.
I saw the first episode of that and decided the only two adaptations that I will acknowledge are the Culkin film and the Hanna Barbara cartoon from the 80s.

I dont know if you two are aware but Tamara left Channel Awesome. Nothing big or something she wanted to do more things and be independent.
I think she explained that on Reddit or something about her not wanting to be on someone else's channel anymore
Sadness, but understandable
Wow. That's sad
That's TWICE the main Channel Awesome girls left
@@CaptainCat101 it's two different situations though Rachel left because she got an opportunity to act in Hollywood to pursue her dream. Tamara left because of not wanting to be a part of someone else's video like background characters
Believe it or not, that "My inventions" bit with Critic was actually my introduction to him during high school!
That part with the CGI face on the computer would've been the perfect time for Doug to reference "We are Nintendo you can not beat us" but then again this review came out before that one commercial special where he played that so maybe he didn't know about at the time who knows
Between Tamara leaving Channel Awesome and the passing of David Lynch, it’s been a really tragic day!
"people of today would hate this movie about rich people"
The fact the nostalgia critic video came out nine years ago is funny considering the current day social economy
12:48 i actually first saw John Larroquette in the hallmark fantasy miniseries The 10th Kingdom.
Most people who grew up in the early 2000s know Edward Herrmann (Ritchie’s dad), best as Richard Gilmore from Gilmore Girls. R.I.P. 🪦
Thank you for just putting a semi-translucent WB logo instead of just blurring/covering the whole screen like others do.
The President getting a loan from Elon Bezos?
...the movie takes place in 2025?
RIP,David Lynch
Show of hands who would want them to react to some of the Raders of the Story Arc NC reviews
Reaction starts at 3:45.
Thanks Caleb
God bless you
15:38 "You Cannot beat uuuus."
I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought of that!

17:30 That Animaniacs episode is so good!
22:00 That aged so well 😆
4:00 i still like The Pagemaster. nostalgic guilty pleasure
I think my dad told me that in his opinion the most people should be paid is around $10,000 dollars apparently.😅
12:43 to be fair John larroquette does play a good guy in night court and yes I know that's a TV show but it's still going on so I guess Doug is wrong
The original Night Court is better. Dan was a bit of a scumbag, but he was funnier
@@jacobdehaan4114 I think it's explained in the beginning of the new show that Dan gave up all that when he got married and then his wife died
@@GamerLegend.97ok. I never saw it beyond the first episode. It wasn't nearly as funny as the original show
Also Madhouse

The Pagemaster is a nostalgia bias classic
Conan The Barbarian Gameplay Trailer For Mortal Kombat 1 is out today
Ah, one of the classics! 😊
You’d look just like John Pinette!

What is with the WB logo just curious?😅🤨🧐🤔
Extra protection from the studio copyright claiming.
probably to avoid copyright claim/strike as that happened before with one of their reactions
@ wow WB wow can’t handle people giving their opinions in a reaction video to a movie that was around in the 1990,s several decades ago?🤔🧐😳🤨😑🙄
To protect themselves from copyright

How about a reaction to Quest for Camelot by Nostalgia Critic
At least its better then the netflix version
I saw the first episode of that and decided the only two adaptations that I will acknowledge are the Culkin film and the Hanna Barbara cartoon from the 80s.
React to Nostalgia Critic The Good Son review but it'll likely won't be that fun since Doug COMPLETELY silent throughout the whole review.
My inventions! 😂😂😂
Classic!
Please, react to Joueur du Grenier - Dragon's Lair.
9:30 hits really funny with our current incoming president. lol
Yall really fell off without Ben, and you know it's true 😔
There is an episode of 'Black Mirror' about robo bees.
