Bravo! Great talent! But the pianist is amazing!!! It is very rare to hear Sibelius orchestra part played like this. It is a shame that you didn't mention his name...
Victor my boy you are a STARRR!!!...WOW!!!...also very impressed with the sensitive pianist!...good transcription of the orch.score...Victor,i am going to keep my eyes & ears open for you...good luck man!!
14:27 is really beautiful, so is this individual. Literally the best violinist I have ever seen and heard, just look at him now. Bravo for never quitting and for posting this.
Absolutely fantastic...I'm also 15 and learning this concerto and this beats a lot of very famous performances I've seen of this piece...also the piano reduction makes me just a little scared to give this out my accompanist!
I love how he lets the octaves ring naturally instead of murdering them with too much vibrato like some players. I am also a 15 year old violinist too :)
to play like this at 15 is the craziest feat I have seen accomplished in my life. tackled Beethoven at 14, then Sibelius at 15? that's more amazing than playing Wieniawski and Sibelius in a single performance. of course its not the biggest, but one of the greatest I've seen in teenage violin playing
Great performance !!! The notes are perfect in pitch ! In my opinion you just need to work better in your dynamics, strength in some passages, more smoothness in others !
His tie is brighter than my future

There is ZERO NEED to refer to him as “Mr. Li.” This is a teenager/young adult, the first name is sufficient.
@@Chihuahuauno1 umm, this was 10 yrs ago bro
This is one of the best interpretations I have ever heard of this piece. Please never stop playing.
Mvt 1: Allegro Moderato (D minor) - [0:30]
Mvt 2: Adagio di molto (B-flat major) - [16:12]
Mvt 3: Allegro, ma non tanto (D major) - [23:20]

Siempre elegante y dice estilo Sibelius
ur gonna be a great violinist now and later.
After Covid and the decimation of orchestras, we may have to make do with the pared down performances of big concert pieces in this way.
better than some of the pros
Curtis is my dream Q^Q
Very beautiful interpretation, reminded me quite strongly of Perlman's interpretation who I believe plays this piece best (for my taste)
this song just amazing ><
Beautyfull
27:50 whoops 😬
See you Victor
Oh sheet !!!
wait, so are you in their pre college division (if they have one) or are you already pursuing a degree at 15? :O
what is your accompanist doing... otherwise really good job.
Solid performance, I have to say! But not nearly as good as some people state here. There's clearly some way to go.
I can't even listen to the piano 🙄
That's not the point, it's a VIOLIN concerto. Unless I misunderstood your comment, then my apologies
