It's funny that Michael considers Griffith Park as east L.A. He is still about 8 miles northwest of downtown L.A. -- East L.A. is east of downtown. All in all, this is an excellent survey of a few very interesting places. The Lake Shrine is one of my favorites. This video showcases Michael's congenial personality and knowledgeable manner. I hope he has many more to view.
Wow, what an awesome vlog! 🌟 I love how you showcased the hidden gems of LA like Lake Shrine and the Old LA Zoo. It's amazing to see a different side of the city beyond the usual tourist spots. Your adventures were so inspiring and fun to watch. If you're ever looking for another unique spot to visit, I highly recommend the Quantum Clinic for float spa therapy. It's perfect for mental wellness and relaxation. Plus, their music therapy sessions are incredible for finding inner peace. Keep up the great work, and can't wait to see more of your explorations!
As a native Angeleno I knew of all those spots. BTW, the GP Merry go round is close to the old zoo too which a lot of people don't know about either Two other hidden and/or unknown places are Angelino Heights and Heritage Square. Angelino Heights is one of the oldest relatively undisturbed neighborhoods in LA. Many homes from the turn of the last century. It even still has the old street light posts. Go around twilight and walk around. It's like you stepped back in time Heritage Square is more of a museum of Victorian homes that have been moved there from different areas of the city to create a sort of outdoor architectural museum. Very interesting too. It's off the Arroyo Seco Parkway which is actually its own hidden gem. It's the oldest stretch of freeway in LA. But be warned that the onramps and offramps are very short by modern standards and the highway is curvey. I heard it was designed like that (instead of straight) so driver's wouldn't fall asleep and need to pay attention. Don't know if that is historically correct or just a rumor. Definitely make another part of hidden LA gems
Definitely keen for part 2 my dude! I love this kinda stuff. I even made a 5 things off the beaten path in LA Vlog from my first trip there from Australia in 2019, check it out of you need some ideas!
most of the video is the camera pointing straight at his face when really i wanted to see cool stuff (i mean your face is cool but i wanna see LA not just your face lol)

11:51 random ghost dude?🤣
The old zoo is a nice spot, but it's no secret spot. Hundreds go through it every week, especially on the weekend.
I didnt know about it. Im not a local privy to secrets so the video was very useful for me.

Congrats you found the smoking spots
it’s actually lame at night most cages and spots in the abandoned zoo are closed.
Please do part 2
On it!
The creepy music 😂
I'll do most of this but not doing the house j the woods one 😂
When I think of Los Angeles I think of Compton South Central East LA (Not Leonardo dicaprios East LA)
Hey what’s the address to the last two spots?
Zoo: 4801 Griffith park drive
Lake Hollywood Park: 3160 canyon lake drive
these are the only spots tourist talk about lol
Does he realize shoes on a power line often means it’s an area for dealing?
It’s probably because some people give away gems lol
Guess what my favorite part was? LOL
Clueless!!
Left LA in 88. Soooo glad.
jacksepticeye😳
Gang banger graffiti is not nice to look at and it is EVERYWHERE.

All the savages who put graffiti on this places I swear…
Tourists have ruined that area
Way too much walking around doing nothing.
