- The defendant gave the plaintiff a car while they were still dating. The plaintiff agreed to pay the defendant money for insurance. Unfortunately, someone struck the car while it was parked. The defendant collected the insurance money and took off with the totaled car, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant insists he and the plaintiff broke up before the crash, and he argues the insurance was under his name. The money and car belong to him fair and square, according to the defendant.

Since she was only paying part of the insurance and never transferred title, judge should have ordered ½ of insurance check to teach her a lesson to grow up and take responsibility.

I live by a set of STRICT rule's which are, Nvr mix business w pleasure or fck around w ANY friend/acquaintance, legit trust NOBODY while having ZERO expectations except the bare minimum & basic while expecting to be treated the EXACT SAME no more or less, dnt borrow $ I can't afford to lose, dnt accept ANYTHING from ANYBODY that I can't or dnt trust explicitly like my dad & about it, keep any & all receipts & documentation for paper trail, paper trail, paper trail for there's 3 side's to every story & this show solidifies it for me w sheer perfection per usual.❤❤❤😊😊
Once again JM is wrong. If she would have hit someone and injured them, and he was there suing her because she never registered the car, JM would have ruled that he was irresponsible and if he didn’t care enough to make her register the car in his name and the insurance was in his name he took the risk and it’s his fault and wouldn’t have awarded him jack****.

Correct ruling. He had full knowledge that she had the car in his name still and was complicit in it such that he states he was paying a portion of her insurance. Let's say that you and your ex-spouse took a life insurance policy out on a loved one; you have continued to pay the premiums alone but forgot to remove them as a beneficiary, should they be entitled to the payout?
I don't think so either, if the accident was the other way around and she hit somebody he'd be responsible.

Bad ruling. The plaintiff shouldn't have gotten a dime. The car wasn't even in her name. Don't ever put anything for somebody else in your name.
The lord has a message for you, stop namedropping to justify all your stupid decisions. She was supposed to insure it in her name. She shares some of the blame for this but as long as the lord loves justice is her favorite saying she will never take any responsibility.
Why did she win insurance money that's in his name,if it's her car she should have it in her name, why award her for not being a responsible car owner and instead punish him for her laziness?

Plaintiff irked my nerves talking about he has been mislead all the time by friends. Sounds like she a user and he was too nice. I was waiting for Judge to come up with a way he didn't have to pay her but at least he can be done with her.

The judge got this wrong, if the car is in his name therefore it was right that he got the insurance money, I don't see that he owes her anything, she couldn't be bothered to put it in her name and he was paying the insurance. There have been cases before where the judge says, 'just be grateful that you used the car and any money you paid towards the insurance is like having rented a car for that time', yet here she awards her 100% of the insurance money...
Judge is definitely wrong on this one.
She doesn't know the Lord, and the Lord doesn't lnow her! If she did, she wouldn't be in court! STOP USING GOD WHEN YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW HIM!

An yes he did keep her name on the insurance because it made his policy cheaper because why fix something thats not "broken" and the little extra he paid was way less that what he would have paid if the policy was just in his name .He is clearly self serving to completely keep a check that is for someones else only mode of transportation and pretty much have the demenor like whatever. now had she registered the car and put the insurance in her name.....they would not be in court....

I knew that things wouldn't bode well for the defendant after hearing the details of this case but again Milian has a nasty attitude and disposition towards both litigants for obvious reasons. I believe things got this bad because nobody ever had the guts to speak up to Milian. She's not above reproach! Just because someone is a judge doesn't mean that you can't speak up for yourselves. I would've definitely had it out with her. No doubt about it.
I mean, true, you are allowed to run your mouth a little. But, she would destroy your argument and kick you out with a loss. Is your pride so out of control that you would take a loss just to get screamed over and not even heard?
Hypothetically speaking, Adrian would be one of those peeps who bypasses Doug - and Most Definitely Kurt - in the hallway, steam pouring out of his ears because he got all twisted over a loss in Judge Milian's courtroom, or maybe because he didn't "win it all", or because the Judge had enough mercy on him to kick him out before he made a bigger fool of himself without Douglas having to zero in on his "flexing". 🙂
Milian could've very well done whatever she like because after all it is her courtroom but win or lose I certainly would've left with dignity and respect intact because I wouldn't have allowed her to disrespect or talk down to me in any way. No sir!
