Awesome tonneau cover!… far more versatile than the Diamondback. Dig Ford trucks, but I would however like to see an installation video on a 3rd gen Tacoma.
I really want a diamondback but this one is very interesting. I thought DB was expensive. Still paying on my truck, so maybe a couple years I will get a cover. Maybe by then the price has dropped some on either covers.
What are the dimensions of a long bed model when folded up? How far above the rails, and how far back from the front of the bed? Just concerned about contacting my fifth wheel in a tight turn.
To piggyback off this - if you have this - do you have the plastic that folds to the size or the aluminum? does it rattle? and did you have to drill to install it in the tailgate?
Once installed seems great. Installation not simple. I would rather have a qualified installer do the job. Also my gut feel is that this system will require regular adjustment. These cover systems should also come with a quality tail gate sealer system.
Hey Max great feedback. It takes customers 2-4 hours to install. It helps to be the DIY minded. If you would like a skilled installer to do it for you we can work with them to do your install. We recommend utilizing your local truck accessory shop. Most of our customers will do maintenance every 6-8 months. This entails lubricating the slides, or adjusting the torsion bar (optional accessory). This takes about 20 minutes. We will take into consideration the tail gate seal, its very affordable to pickup a window seal at the hardware store for $5-$10. Thank you for watching, The Renegade Team
@@RenegadeCovers Thanks! On watching it again, though, it looks like the box link is still available, no? After you reinstalled it it looks like the boxlink tie-down hook was still there, no?
@@RenegadeCovers Do you keep any in stock for say the f-150? Is that lead time any shorter since it’s such a widespread truck? Also can you please upload some photos of the new silver trim
Not really but okay. I’m a vendor for Ford and Toyota. No rectangular beds there. It was my understanding that these covers were made for each individual truck like the Diamondback. So these are universal?
Pricey and NOT waterproof at all according to other reviews??? I don’t think so!!! Unless they were lying. Renegade, care to elaborate on if this cover is waterproof or not?

Thank you for stopping by and checking out our truck bed cover.

Recommended for 8ft bed, 6.5”H x 33”W. when folded.
A draw of the cover is it’s easily detached; how does having the torsion bar change that? Will it have to also be removed and reinstalled every time?
The torsion Bar removes with the cover. So you do not have to reinstall it later
How do the brackets attach to older GM trucks?
Using the stake holes. You wont have to drill holes to mount the cover. Thank you for stopping by.
Because of where the brackets are, are you still able to use the OEM Ford bed organizer/flip out load extender?
To be honest we are not sure if this will get in the way of that Ford OEM accessory. Nor do we have a way to test it. We apologize.

Or when detached does the torsion bar stay in the cover
Generally once installed you leave it on the cover. You can remove it. However we have not seen any of our customers want to remove the torsion bar.
Can this be installed with the Ram utility bar? Or do you have to take off the utility bar to install this cover?
If it's the RamBar it would need to be removed.

What does adjusting the torsion bar entail?
Is there any way to install this on a 21-2 f-150 without losing use of the box link system?
At this time no :)

how long will it take to get to me if i put the order in like today?
12-15 weeks due to covid strain on our supply chain.

Why wouldn’t you taper the bed cover to match the truck??
Many newer trucks are moving to the rectangle shaped bed
What Dave said :)

So for the 2021-2 f-150 does it not fit precisely? If so what sticks out
Do you have an install of this on the Jeep Gladiator?
Yes, check out our gallery for a few. More pics coming soon.
What a major Hassle ...🙄
