Honestly, it cannot be hard for humanity to simply think of a different system, one that politicians simply don't exist in. It's not that hard but too many won't want to sacrifice life's comforts for it that to happen. Humans have become so greedy and lazy.

Besides that, you are free to transform into anyone or anything you want. You also have the liberty to come and go as you please. Scientific academic methods are used to educate the children, the teachers are held in high esteem, and almost all students excel in sports and pursue further studies.They also have late night parties, by the way. For a moment ignore the fact that the inhabitants of Oranje have white skins, and ignore the fact that their critics have a black skin, and ask yourself if there would still be an issue with Oranje? It is interesting to see how barren and dry and hot Oranje is, yet these people have turned it into an oasis, exploiting no black man, doing everything themselves. Oranje is proof of what South Africa could be like. The people who sweep the streets in Oranje have white skins, the sewerage workers are white, everybody works together for the good of the community. Where I live the community (all races )have taken charge of cleaning our own streets, cutting grass, branches overhanging streets, cleaning parks ext, if we don't the place will loose its value. Money is raised, everyone donates a small amount, some can only afford R50 a month maybe but it helps, some can't donate anything. The local Spar sometimes provide a small lunch. Our place already looks so much better! Each street has a whatsup group to keep updates and for protection which works great. We just need to stand together.

Black people used to have their own businesses. They had their own sportfields. They had their own entertainment. Soweto was a bustling and vibrant place. White people went to see shows there and visited their restaurants. You could get a harttransplant for R2 at Chris Hani or Baragwana hospital.

@@seripa15 i don,t know. Shops have been taken over by foreigners in the once lively townships. Nothing is left. Apartheid was bad but instead of a real democracy whe have less and less. What happened? I don't know. Black people are not supressed by whites, yet the majority of black people have no jobs and they go hungry. Maybe they thought the state will give them all those things and they stopped doing things for themselves like before.

You know God gave an opportunity to the ANC to eradicate apartheid so that all of South African citizens could enjoy good and safe life in their country. I live in a town called Despatch, 2 black neighbors. We are good friends. It works. Strange when you move into a white neighborhood, you notice that the whites are actually nice. We simply care about our towns, roads and safety. And a job to go to every day. Why does racism come up so much?

What Pen describes here is what I thought would happen after democracy. I really believed and wanted people to thrive through their communities. I (and most other white people) have never wanted apartheid back - just self-sufficiency on a national scale. But we just got more(and worse) of the same as we had pre-democracy. The government takes what it can from Orania through VAT, PAYE, etc. but it does not give back even 1 cent to their municipality. Can you imagine how prosperous there economy would be if they were given back the monies that they are due?
Imagine if all the taxes we in Orania pay to the government is instead paid to our own town. We will be able to grow so much faster and we could actually pay less municipal fees etc.

This was so informative. Thank you! The residents of Oriana often get very skewed representation in the media because they are living proof of what South Africa can be without te ANC government.
I have been to Orania myself and actually met and spoke to the residents. They were, without exception, good, warm and compassionate people who expressed absolutely NO hate or animosity towards others, not even the ones who keep misrepresenting them.
Their living areas were imaculate, no potholes, no filth and they do it all themselves. ZERO CRIME.
What's stopping the rest of South Africa from living like this? I'll tell you what, or rather, who: Corrupt, race baiting politicians who thrive off of creating hate and division among the people they govern to deflect from their own failures and avoid being held accountable.

That is the only way we can win in South Africa. To learn from each other and build up our own communities and forget about a race and about the goverment. I do agree that when we fix our own communities we will choose our leaders very wisely!!
We don't need political parties where the ministers are not aswerable to their constituents. You need direct representation - elect a good local person to go to govt for you and who are answerable to you for their performance. And 2nd, you are right about communities being proud of their environment - start cleaning up, plant veggie gardens, fix your roads, get rid of the criminals. It can be done

It doesn't matter if you are white, brown, pink or purple, everyone should be forming communities like this. If anything, the COVID event taught us all that creating resilient communities that are off grid and self supporting. It is so easy to do and will very quickly create strong and resilient communities. We all have the skills to do it. We must take back personal responsibility for our families and our friends and communities. Politicians don't give a damn about people. They just compete with each other so that they can eat from our taxes. Think about it. Taxes are only there to support politicians. That is is why they don't want you to start doing things for yourself because eventually we won't need them. We already have all the skills to make it happen. Start to do it people! I am about to launch an initiative where we help people to train and organise to be resilient communities because I truly believe this is the future. I would love to work with you and others to make that happen. Let me know
I could not agree more with you ! 2020 and the handling of covid from this goverment, I think showed how little they care for ppl and the ppl best interests.schools, jobs,food parcels only to afew , but billions to their ppl. I think anc overstepped in 2020 and showed themselves, but have continued to over step on our lives without any questions or order.

Everyone in Orania works hard to uplift their community. Meanwhile other people work hard so that they afford to move to a better area.
Wow! Ok, I'm astonished but also very encouraged. It's not about racism, or even crime, but the fact that marxist centralised government just doesn't work..and the way to go is small, decentralised, where everyone takes responsibility for their local things to make life work well. I live in a gated, working class gated community in East Rand side of Johannesburg - black, white, english, afrikaans, we all live side by side and we take care of our stuff - we look out for each other...just a small switch and we could be another ora...its the way to go for South Africa. Give us a government that will allow for this...and we'll all be ok, not rich, but have decent lives
Orania is reminiscent of the Muslim communities in Cape Town.. everyone will move into areas where there are Muslims ...there are previously white areas in Cape Town that are now predominantly Muslim... so even though they still rely on government services..
.the point I'm trying to make is that as a community they want to be together....

Muslims in this country are proudly muslim first and South African last, expecting to assimilate the culture into their own, rather than to assimilate into the broader South African culture. Hope alot of people have learned from your video and message today. I also did not know what is going on in Orania. What I did saw the otherday is people from SA who camped at their caravan park and it was beautiful.
I am a pensioner now I think you have a brilliant idea that pepple can look after their own community and doing something for the kids.
We do not have parks where they can play safe, not even public pools anymore. Like you say we must vote right this year.
