I was driving past a furniture store with a sign that stated "Work is therapy. Employ someone, but more importantly, give them hope." And that really transformed the way i thought about the dread of work. All of you who are employed are so blessed and dont know it. Work can be intense, sure, but at least you wake up everyday knowing that youre doing something for a purpose (maybe not a defined purpose, but nonetheless). This in itself, is hope. Ive met those who are unemployed seeking work. They live in a constant state of anxiety and are so desperate and willing to accept anything just to survive and more importantly, to have hope that if everything else fails, they at least have a job waiting for them. People dont want to accept the fact that work can be therapy.
Oml please stop with the “they were trying to tell us something” like it’s some big revelation 😂 it’s so obvious that every piece of media is somewhat based around real world problems
Quick reading list I'll pop in here 1. Engels principles of communism 2. Marxs critique of the goetha program 3. Marxs Value price and profit (if this is too long engels foreword to wage labor and capital summarizes it well, though you'd do well to read longer texts) 4. Lenins the state and revolution 5. Bordigas dialogue with stalin (fight me falsifiers) After that I think you'll have a good set of fundamentals. The holy family, 18th brumaire, imperialism, socialism scientific and utopian, and capital vol1 are all great as well. I personally recomend delving into more bordiga also, though that's sort of obscure.
for people who don't know💔... The last one. Means They only get to work They Take a shower and then go to work Then go to bed all day. And so it's morning and that same process over and over again.... Sorry I'm bad at. Explaining.🥹💔📚🍃 and btw, you not stay in the same job.The Rest. of your life😅 My dad goes to work. So I know

I really loved this one
What's Being warned is get a job you really like that you would stay in for years unlike a job you don't like and not stay there for years.
I work 12 to 16 hours a day for 6 to 7 days a week. This broke me
Think about when you have children, it's the same. Happiness is overrated, I admire the person who works hard everyday for their family's sake
The only way to escape is to build better and far more advanced tech.
Not even close
Bruh what 😂
While we dont have total escape, i feel like we could at least be having a little more in exchange
