If you sent in (I think it was 100) cowboy crunch cereal boxes, you got a free woody doll, Andy's Dad's family was poor though, and couldn't afford this many, so he sent in all the boxes he had and decorated them really nicely in the hope that that would work. The promotion was scrapped when the show was taken off air, and the woody prototype was binned. However a secretary didn't think it should go to waste and so decided to send it out to one lucky child. When she was looking through the cereal boxes, Andy's decorated boxes caught her eye and she decided to send the doll to him
It was actually said by someone who worked on Toy Story that Andy’s dad had polio and died. 😢
I heard that it was because Pixar was still new at the time and people were difficult to animate, same reason why in the first T.S. movie, all of Andy's friends have the same face.

Another theory is that the girl from Monster's Inc. is actually Violet from Incredibles. Since her dad works as a superhero, she's used to seeing all sort of scary stuff. That's why she wasn't scared when seeing Mike and Sully

There is a theory that Boo is actually Violet from Incredibles, as in the movie, monsters say that they saw boo doing stuff, which actually matches the powers of Violet.
All i remember is monsters talking about a baby flying, picking others up with mind powers, and shooting lasers from the eyes.
Violet’s power is static so can’t really pick anyone up and shake em like a dog

Andy’s dad passed away and all the pictures of the kid on the wall is Andy’s dad who is also named Andy he died from something I can’t remember but the house they are living in is Andy’s grandparents. If you want it explained better check out Supercarlinbrothers(I think I miss spelled this) video they explained it way better

Can we just talk about how Andy got a bunch of new toys at the end of the second movie, and his mom didn't question it at all? He sees they toys on the bed, goes down stairs and thanks his mom for the toys, and she was not at all concerned with the sudden appearance of these new toys?
She probably let it slide because she didn't want to spend money on loads of toys

I guess I can debunk the Monster's inc. one, because, Sulley and Boo actually met at the end when Mike built Boo's door out of the broken shards(when they shredded Boo's door) and they met again. and it's most likely just pixar doing its thing.
Edit: the "pixar doing its thing" I mentioned is the references that they do for some scenes

Those family photos are of Andy's dad. He just happened to look a lot like his son. In one photo, he's missing his 2 front teeth, but Andy, being only 6, still has all of his baby teeth. Another shows him wearing glasses but, guess what, Andy doesn't wear glasses. He's wearing glasses because Andy's father had polio which can cause bad vision.

The actual reason Andy's dad never appears is because he died of polio. And there actually are pictures, it's just they're all pictures of him as a kid. Notice that the kid in those pictures has glasses, and that Andy NEVER wears glasses. It's Andy's dad.

The witch in Brave is not Boo. They didn't have nearly similar wallpaper for the room that Boo lived in. They didn't travel back in time and yet Boo is now older. Time does not flow in both directions, only forward (as far as I know)
