    Steve was looking so well in this interview and so full of life.
    I remember my father introducing me to the RedGreen show when I was a child and I gew up with Red & Harold and the gang making me laugh.
    This fills me with so much joy.

    A friend and I would get stoned and watch Red Green every Saturday night on PBS here in the states back in the nineties. Then, for a short time, I lived in British Columbia and hit the jackpot. Reruns! I would watch Red every day. I'm only sorry that I never got to see his live show. Thanks Red/Steve. Keep your stick on the ice.

    OMG I love red green, been a fan for years. I have to say what I love most about this, was the bit about his father. I can sooo relate to this, and I am in the same situation, so it was nice to see a guy, who while had a rough upbringing, always did the right thing.

    I didn't come across Red Green until 2005 growing up in Boston Massachusetts But I must say he makes me feel like I've known him in my early years..He identifies with a lot of aspects in my life...I enjoy his reruns and podcasts..I'm looking forward to his movie since I missed his one man shows around North America..I wish I had a dad with his values and advice about the world..It's easy to understand why he holds the highest honors amongst his fellow Canadians...He is up there with Goldie Howe, Wayne Gretzky, Don "grapes"Cherry as the most loved of all time.. ...Love you Mr. Smith

    Both Steve Smith and Patrick McKenna were my childhood! I used to LOVE watching the Red Green show on PBS/TPT when I was little back in the 90's and 2k's. Especially the Handyman Corner and Midlife segments. Oh yes.. who can forget the Possum Lodge oath, and the Man's prayer.
    This show back then was legendary status, and same for Steve as a whole.
    Steve must be protected and kept alive at all costs!

    I watched it on PBS here only a cpl years after episodes aired in Canada. I remember when a U.S. network was going to give them a contract but wanted an update. So The New Red Green Show was born. CANNOT find any episodes of that now. Network never did give him a contract. They should have.

    We all have men or women like this in our families and imagine if this person had political views opposite of yours, would you still respect and listen to his advise? Kids today are bombarded with political crap and anything that embraces family, traditional values, patriotism, individual responsibility is considered their enemy. We have 2nd graders being taught to embrace alternative lifestyles and stop racism, at what point does someone step in and tell these "educators" to knock it off or else! Some cities do and then the media stomps on them. We don't have a chance to avoid something very bad coming soon.

    Steve/Red should study up on MGTOW(Men Going Their Own Way) and offer up his thoughts on the subject...

    • @sandramcclure2598
      @sandramcclure2598 5 лет назад

      If you do what MGTOW says the world would start to die, you men are un-breeding yourselves out of existing . but sometimes I do agree with "survival of the fittest " This thought pattern always self destructs, and, you can't procreate w/o woman, you need to forgive your mothers/fathers for not teaching you to be a man, most of MGTOW are batá males, not alfa males , you think like your mothers, with emotions , men think with logic , if you forgive them you can turn back to your father and be a man. if not, than do like your club suggest and avoid being a man and running your household ,anyone can put self first, its the easiest path to distortion of reality there is. just saying..
