Didn't Eric repeat Bill's words from an earlier season back to him? "More time for your family, the institution doesn't suffer" Isn't that what Bill said to Eric when Eric was sidelined? I need to go back and watch.
@@unpluggedsongs3582 So I did rewatch last night and Adler told Eric the same words in Season 2, episode 4. This was when Eric went to NY and Adler talked to Eric about his “low sales numbers”, Eric rebuffed and tried to throw DVD under the bus but DVD was on speaker phone the whole time. DVD told Eric about his “promotion” and then Adler speaks those words to him.
The old Eric from season 1 is back. It’s kind of a relief because the insecure, sexually harassing, midlife crisis Eric was a bit sad to see. Though his ruthlessness of gaslighting his boss was the most ruthless we’ve seen him. That was a new low BUT it is very much something Eric would do. As I keep saying, Ken is perfect for this role and acts it with perfection. I still want to see more scenes with him and Harper though…that seriously lacked this season and the reason why I really liked this show to begin with. As for Robert and Yasmin…it was the same ole, same ole. Robert always seeing the good in her but she consistently shows who she really is, an insecure, victim playing snob who in the end, who is really out for herself and only herself. All of the things that Harper said about her are true. It’s kind of puzzling how they made her more of a focal point this season while putting Harper’s storyline a bit in the background. But we do have one episode left so we shall see what direction the show will go in given they’ve been renewed for a 4th season.
I'm a little disappointed how Harper has less screen time this season and Yas is becoming the main one but only because of her personal life drama instead of what she brings to the table.
Man, I was so relieved when Eric said those lines, thus signifying to Bill that he’d been played. The idea, that he was going to go home and frantically ruminate on whether or not he and Eric really had a conversation in the bathroom (and worry that his tumor is getting worse), was hard to process. I don’t care for Adler, but that would’ve have been tooooo cruel.
The boardroom drama was a little far fetched imo, but the acting was terrific. And the tension building up to this moment was amazing. I hope the Adler character returns. Terrific actor who displays equal parts charm and ruthlessness. And in this episode, lots of vulnerability.
Wilhemia: all you have to do is whisper in his ear. Industry is a show on meditating on power and its variants within banking. Eric's power is that he's good at pretending to be a human right before he twists the knife. Episodes of hin being vulnerable with someone quickly move to him taking them off the board (Kenny). Yas says when she feels sensations of love or care, she doesn't know how to cope so channels it into sex. Eric channels it into annihilation.
Super disappointed with this episode. Eric’s move was good but the Harper/Petra situation is ridiculous. They are over 300m up on a 1B fund and Petra doesn’t feel that’s enough lol ok. Also Harper admitting she’s trading on inside information after it destroyed her career the first time ok…no. They built a perfect cover and nobody can prove she overheard them in the restroom.
I never trusted Petra from day one. She was always jumpy and quick to bail or flip on Harper. Harper has to do the dirty work which is how they were even able to get Otto's funding in the first place. BUT even still Harper should be way more careful. She's too reckless. It's sad how close she gets to the top every season. She should just cash out and find something else to do.
@@CuratedVibes Agreed, I guess it’s more of our job to watch lol. It just pains me that the writers selectively avoid using logic just to fill the narrative that Harper is self destructive, Eric is conniving, Rob is…..depressed lol etc etc Very interesting characters but they are all one note, like Pokémon or something.
@@CuratedVibes IKR? Petra be frontin' like she's some kinda predator but when it's time to pull the trigger, she bails. I think Otto will recognize Harper's ruthless potential and hire her.
Absolutely…the background music while all of the executive heads were freaking out was a bit hilarious.😂 But I think it was good to see just how these manipulations work in the boardroom. We all know it happens all of the time in the corporate world but to actually see it play out in real time was great to watch.
But you also have to add in she did not reveal to her boss or business partner that she had committed a crime until after she had already done it. If we are working together and you suggest committing a crime to me and I say no why are just going to break the law anyway and leave the impression we were both doing this.
In Episode 6 Eric told Harper off by betraying Yasmin but he did the exact same thing to Bill even though Eric And Bill may not have been the best of friends Bill still trusted him enough to tell him about his condition and also Bill was always honest with him about things going on in the company and also kept him in the loop and for Eric to do him like that was hard to watch. It just goes to show you in the business they work in is completely Cutthroat friend or not. Eric screwed Bill over so bad even the woman who saw Bill as competition was like Damn that was cold
Yasmin may have been on pills when she told Rob she loved him but he won’t tell her he loves her at all. If he doesn’t maybe he should be honest and tell her he just wants a friendship.

It sounded to me that Eric repeated quite a few things Adler told him last season, but yeah I need to rewatch it again myself to be sure.
There was some reference to it and based on the call Eric took his decision to betray Adler.
Sure did, that's how Adler knew Eric set him up
Yeah I remember that now . Adler was playing with his illness too

The ‘door opening’ line from the elevator was just PERFECT as well
The way Harper got in that car 😫 I would’ve bolted running in the opposite direction

That ending was awesome. This show is at its best when Eric's ruthlessness stomps everybody.
Harper got fired last season for trading insider information and this season the same? Both times she revealed it to her boss/parental figure/mentor?
I think Otto likes her ruthless potential and will hire her.
Harper needs to learn! If she’s going to be an insider trader, she needs to keep her mouth shut about it! She keeps this up, she’s going to jail!

I hope that the last episode will show more of Harper because the drama with Yasmin is getting boring. She’s the same old boring manipulative person.
I tell you one thing Harper has some balls
Eric attempts to suggest suggestions
Ugh i cant believe i have to stay up so late

Yeah sucks that the show isn't that popular enough for people to make videos on:/
