Brett Ratner in Rush Hour and X-Men, Edward Norton, showrunners of Lost and Sopranos... they all publicly spoke out, saying Leung blew them out of the water and consider him one of the greatest actors of his generation skillwise, with an intense screen charisma and movie star presence. Norton said he stole the scene in the movie with his one cameo. So a show where he has a main role... oh boy. Just imagine him as a leading man. @@bobbyaxelrod5959 By no means do you have to agree to this but I think Harper's wavering loyalties came because she's an opportunist, and will happily cross in her path. She liked the trust that came with Eric, but equally had to suck up to Daria who was her manager. When she realised Daria didn't have her back and saw an opportunity to get her old boss in who would owe her one, she took it. She became the essence of the toxic culture.

Easily best written/acted character in the show. Not blanket good or bad, perfectly nuanced that it keeps the viewers intrigued, really looking forward to season 2. Now, I would argue he should have been sacked for those actions but Harper knows the experience better than anyone and she's right to mention that if someone else was in her shoes, it's really not an obvious right/wrong decision.

It's a bit unfair of a statement to say he's the best written character. Part of his character is that he is so confident and sure of himself most of the show. yhh. He is so manipulative. I wish we see more of this part in the series. Everybody keeps saying about how harper doesn't deserve to be there and my question is- then why is she? Eric is no philanthropist, why doesn't he fire Harper? He knows he could give Harper things she never asked (extra raise), make her feel special and use "You would not be here if it weren't for me" line to make her his puppet and to be on his side since Daria and the other lady want him gone. He is using her as much as Harper is using him.
