Yuriofwind Seriously, I think I can speak for everyone when I say we enjoy everything you put out. Thanks for all the videos, Yuri, and I hope you have a nice, easy time with the next couple videos! Have a good day, dude! :D
"Yeian" is actually Laurence Blood from Fatal Fury. Odd choice, since he's hardly representative of the series as a whole. Why not Terry Bogard, since they already had Andy?
I'm surprised you didn't talk about Top Fighter 2000, which is another interesting bootleg fighter. Notable playable characters include _Muhammad Ali and Michael Jordan._ No, I'm not kidding.
Funny that you played the chemical plant theme during World Heroes 2. That guy you thought was fake is actually Laurence blood from Fatal Fury 2, and ironically his theme in World Heroes 2 is a slowed-down version of chemical plant zone.
gotta say I have absolutely no idea why I stopped watching your content years ago but definitely glad I got back into watching your stuff entertaining stuff
Those are all actual Tekken 2 stages though. It actually looks like everything above the horizon line is literally the .jpg of the background from the original game. Which is kinda pretty impressive.
The moment I saw the title, I knew that Kart Fighter would show up. Did you know that characters have certain special moves that can only be used by the AI?
Great video, but there are a lot more bootleg fighting games to mention, including Tekken 2 for the NES, which is a bootleg of Tekken 1, and Tekken 3 Special for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis, a different version of the SNES Tekken 2 with different stages and music. And typing of the SNES Tekken 2, the piece of music that you didn't like was a rendition of Akira Yuki's Virtua Fighter 2 theme, "Ride the Tiger".
D-Did they get Iori's sprite from the Howling Blood series, because that was a pretty low quality sprite in my opinion. Also Treey?! My boy has suffered an injustice and must be avenged!
In the KOF 2000 bootleg, Ryo, Robert, and Takuma are from Art of fighting 1 and 2, for some reason they chose to use both. Iori is from 95 or 98, it's really hard to tell, Terry and Joe are from Fatal fury 2 and the stages are from fatal fury 1. I don't know where the stage with the vending machines is from, but it sure ain't KOF or street fighter. Honestly I'm impressed they used so many different games instead of using one and making it look cohesive, i.e, not shitty.
Ioro is a bad downmake of his KoF sprites. The others come from the older Art of Fighting and Fatal Fury games, which had bigger sprites - albeit with worse animation.
in KoF 2000 the sprites for Robert and Ryo are from Art of Fighting it seems, not from KOF, could be the same for Takuma. Also those sounds are ripped directly from Final Fight 2.
I had to pause the video for a whole 20 minutes whilst I laughed at that Street Fighter 5 being released in beta joke, I mean: where do you come up with this stuff!? How do you stay so current?
I remember long ago playing some bootlegged GBA carts that had a variety of old arcade games, sometimes actual GBA games, and other odd bootlegs all smashed together in one cartridge. I recall Kart Fighter being in one of them. I'm kinda weird when it comes to fighting games. I've probably spent more time coding characters in MUGEN than I have spent actually playing fighting games, if you don't count Smash Bros, which I still am pretty bad at.
Well, on King of Fighters 2000, the stage with the drummers in the back is actually the Pao Pao Cafe, from the SNES port of Fatal Fury, most likely. The beach level seems like the Michael Max stage from the same game, but I'm not sure ^^ And I've been playing Ryu for the past... 23 years or so. Crap, I'm old :P
There's a Taiwanese developer that made some really cool SNK fighter clones/knockoffs for the Game Boy Color, such as Soul Falchion and Queen Fighter 2000. Janky, sure, but pretty cool.
You know what's weird about Kart Fighter? It's basically the polar opposite of an officially licensed game for the SNES and other systems called Street Racer. Street Racer is Street Fighter in a Mario Kart game, Kart Fighter is Mario Kart in a Street Fighter game
In my country there's a very popular hack of a fighting game where you can play as Homer Simpson vs Goku, or whatever... They used to bundle it with OG Xbox purchases. They call it Mugen, but not sure of the official name.
Pretty sure Mugen (or M.U.G.E.N, which stands for.. something) is actually the engine. You can find various downloads on the internet. Kinda strange that they would actually sell it.
Speaking of fighting games, they finally revealed a new Gundam fighting game for the PS4. Hopefully it'll be as good as Full Boost was, because Force was kind of a letdown.
Obscure Gaming is one of my personal favorite segments, cause of all that bootleggy goodness. You fight the good fight, Yuri.
Glad you enjoy them :D. Have more in the pipeline ^-^. Wanted to do this fighting game one first though :3.
Yuriofwind Seriously, I think I can speak for everyone when I say we enjoy everything you put out. Thanks for all the videos, Yuri, and I hope you have a nice, easy time with the next couple videos! Have a good day, dude! :D
+Yuriofwind been bingeing your videos all day because they're so entertaining to watch and listen to.
Everyone's here! Mario, Sonic, Bowser, R-Ryu and...G-Goku? GOKU? [Dragonball Z theme plays in the background]
Yeain is actually Lawrence Blood from Fatal Fury 2, just saying.
"Yeian" is actually Laurence Blood from Fatal Fury. Odd choice, since he's hardly representative of the series as a whole. Why not Terry Bogard, since they already had Andy?
First rule of bootleg fightclub: ALWAYS talk about Bootleg Fightclub
I'm surprised you didn't talk about Top Fighter 2000, which is another interesting bootleg fighter. Notable playable characters include _Muhammad Ali and Michael Jordan._ No, I'm not kidding.
1:52 That's Laurence Blood from Fatal Fury
Mmmm these videos improve with age like fine wine. rewatching everything is most kind to my soul, hell I'll do it three times, bless you yuriofwind
Funny that you played the chemical plant theme during World Heroes 2. That guy you thought was fake is actually Laurence blood from Fatal Fury 2, and ironically his theme in World Heroes 2 is a slowed-down version of chemical plant zone.

Yossy?
yeah i remember him he's my faaavorite
That's an alternate romanization for "Yoshi".
@@TackyRackyComixNEO its a joooooke
The Tekken 2 bootleg has Virtua Fighter 2 music. The sample shown off was a stunning rendition of Akira's theme.
Those are all actual Tekken 2 stages though. It actually looks like everything above the horizon line is literally the .jpg of the background from the original game. Which is kinda pretty impressive.
yea idk why he bashed on the stages xD those were faithful re creations xD
The King of fighters 2000 bootleg: Everyone got fucked in the ass by orochi.
The moment I saw the title, I knew that Kart Fighter would show up. Did you know that characters have certain special moves that can only be used by the AI?
Love that you've been posting so frequently these days :D
that multi directional tatsu is godlike
I'm surprised you didn't mention Sonic: The Fighters.
Oh wait, that was legit.
Heh.
With canceled content until abit of it was released in the HD version of the game, with bugfixes on Honey the Cat.
Awh Yea, another obscure gaming! I love these!
this is a really scary creppypasta i am spooked
You're one of those youtubers that gets me excited whenever you upload. No matter how infrequently you post, I'm not upset at all.
I'm pretty damn sure the large mushroom stage on Kart Fighter is just a rip of a level from Little Nemo. If not, it sure looks a LOT like it.
now that 10/10 best intro ever
I support your viewpoint about Tekken 2 SNES. The forest level is my favorite out of that, regardless of how crappy it can be.
Been waiting for another one of these for awhile.
the track in tekken 2 sounds like they just gave someone an acoustic guitar and recorded his confusion
how you know the tekken 2 bootleg isn't made in China: if it was, it would be called tekken 7
in contrast, king of fighters 2000 definitely made in china
GRAND
DAD
FLEENTSTONES?!
+OI, JOSUKE! every beautiful bootleg has a 7 somewhere
Tekken 7 28 Peoples
7:14 that theme is Akira Yukis theme from virtua fighter 2.
Welp, you earned subscriber. I definitely like your context dude.
my girlfriend and I wait for your videos all the time and you always deliver the enjoyment! thank you for that!
"Until next time...I'm awkward." -Yuriofwind 2016
In all seriousness though, keep up the good work :3
is... is sonic using thundershock?
It's Blanka's electric move I can't remember the name of :3. That I suppose would make his spin dashes the equivalent of Blanka balls.
Yeain is a Fatal Fury 2 character, Laurence Blood. No shame in not knowing him, he is a boring characters :p
So those other KOF sprites were from Fatal Fury 2 instead :3. Too bad Iori looks like shit :'3.
Don't you mean Ioro?
+Yuriofwind they were also taken from Art of Fighting 2 (Ryo, Robert, Takuma).
Very entertaining as always Yuri! Keep up the good work!
The mushroom stage in Kart Fighter is stolen from Little Nemo.
da fauq. When did Nemo Get a fucking Mario Level, I don't know what fucking finding Nemo game your playing XD
little nemo is a Game about a boy that travels through dreams ,for the nes.
Don't talk without knowing
little nemo is a Game about a boy that travels through dreams ,for the nes.

Meh Speak Good English Meh No Speak Bad English
"congrats you just wasted your time, way to go you champ!" xD
10:55 Ryo just did a Haoh Shou Kou Ken (a super [unless they just made it a special])
D-Did they get Iori's sprite from the Howling Blood series, because that was a pretty low quality sprite in my opinion.
Also Treey?! My boy has suffered an injustice and must be avenged!
Why'd they call Terry Bogard Treey!? What kind of stupid ass mistranlated bullshit is that?!
ah bootlegs
so much meme material
and nightmare fuel
Yeain is Lawrence Blood from Fatal Fury 2, I believe.
In the KOF 2000 bootleg, Ryo, Robert, and Takuma are from Art of fighting 1 and 2, for some reason they chose to use both.

Never forget about the poorly made smash ripoff, that was kung fu panda.
Yes, it actually exists.
No it's not a fan game. An actual company made it.
Fuck. I was trying to forget that you know.
Jetto Agu Exactly
Never forget
Rarasaurus never forgive
Since when has leonardo been able to perform the getsuga tenshou?
I'd love to see you cover some bootleg crossover games!!
Why would they swap Mario and Luigi's colors on the title screen? 11:46 lol
Ioro is a bad downmake of his KoF sprites. The others come from the older Art of Fighting and Fatal Fury games, which had bigger sprites - albeit with worse animation.

imagine seeing these fighting games at EVO.
this motivates me to hold a World Fighter tournament.
Yeain is Laurence Blood from the Fatal Fury series
Yeain is Laurence Blood from Fatal Fury Special
Hey Yuriofwind, that's a nice intro.
Player SECELT
I love you, Kenpachi Ramasama!! But seriously, that name is a reference to the Super Best Friends. Funny choice there, buddy.
I remember long ago playing some bootlegged GBA carts that had a variety of old arcade games, sometimes actual GBA games, and other odd bootlegs all smashed together in one cartridge. I recall Kart Fighter being in one of them.

Man, it's been forever since i've seen an Obscure Gaming video.
DAMN YOU TREEY!
Oh, and the KOF Bootleg song you were playing was actually from Final Fight 2.
Yeain looks like he is supposed to be Lawrence Blood.
There's a Taiwanese developer that made some really cool SNK fighter clones/knockoffs for the Game Boy Color, such as Soul Falchion and Queen Fighter 2000. Janky, sure, but pretty cool.
I liked the teken 2's example music FAR better than what ever that noise was that calls it self mario's stage music in the previous game.
Watching this makes me want to play some Mugen.
it's Laurence Blood from Fatal Fury 2. he is one of the four boss characters. the right-hand man of Wolfgang krauser.
You know what's weird about Kart Fighter? It's basically the polar opposite of an officially licensed game for the SNES and other systems called Street Racer. Street Racer is Street Fighter in a Mario Kart game, Kart Fighter is Mario Kart in a Street Fighter game
A game where I can pick chun li and fight off sonic? Sign me up :P
A new upload :D
Did you see the most recent Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Trailer? Think it'll be good? I'm just glad they're building onto Aqua's story
I still think the name is really stupid.
I know! What were they thinking?! It's like "Super Mario Bros 3 HD 2.6 Episode 3 ending sequel finale prequel part 2"
It was really entertaining hearing you try to pronounce my name :)
Aww I wanted to see you cover V.R vs Taken 2 lol.
Blanka Sonic for President
I will never not see Bowser as being somewhat Danny DeVito-esque now.
A lot of these games dont seem like I would lose interest in them almost immediately. Thats a plus.
question where did you use a 8bit rendition of eureka 7 song when tekken 2 came up?
YES, I WAS JUST WAITING FOR A NEW VID!!!!
No mention of Dong Dong Never Dies? Does that count as a bootleg? That game is fucking amazing
KoF bootleg actually has 12 characters. I counted.
I'm the BowsMan! I steal Princesses!
THIS IS WHAT I NEEDED!
Those recolored characters seem to be the Orochi/riot of the blood forms which only iori and a few others should have
I used to have that Verizon tekken 2 on my flip phone xD
in the third game the sprites were taken from the fatal fury 1 ports art of fighting and ioris sprite was taken maybe from kof neoblood from the gba
Surprised you didnt mention that sailpr moon game that shows you hentai
Balrogs theme is the way to start off a video!
Fighting games are my favorite thanks bro
Speaking of fighters
Gundam Vs. was announced for PS4.
Che daniel de donde sos?
Nothing about Mario gaining weight in the first one?
Is Yeain supposed to be thatmatador guy from Real Bout Fatal Fury
Awesome vid yuri!
Yeain is actually just Laurence Blood (A Matador/Right hand man of Wolfgang Krauser from Fatal Fury 2)
Yeain was just a bootleg of Laurence Blood from Fatal Fury.
Yeain is Laurence Blood from Fatal Fury, I believe.
Speaking of fighting games, they finally revealed a new Gundam fighting game for the PS4. Hopefully it'll be as good as Full Boost was, because Force was kind of a letdown.
Awesomeness video
Ryo/Robert/Takuma were taken from Art of Fighting 2.
Terry was taken from Fatal Fury 3.
I still have no idea where Iori was ripped from.
FGC|Checkmate the world may never know
Why the hell does Yuri have such weird tastes? Why does he resent Ristar?
I think that Mario is like an edited Bluto from popeye?
Just when you forgot you subscribed to this guy
Welcome back mate, it's been a while!
