I'm sorry to say that the first month as a new player, is a completely different game than end game. End game is all about group play (dungeons) and if you're not in a top guild to guide you, you're not getting into end game content. The game is definitely fun as you make your way to end game though. So yeah, it's worth playing for that as it is free to play. Just don't be deceived by the fun you have to reach max level. Night and day difference beginning to end
9k hours is not worth it like do u hear urself ? It took you 9 thousand hours to realize o wait nah this game sucks even if it's cause end game or this or that u still put 9k of ur life u wanna add the days up that takes 9k hours? Yet its not worth it ? I mean not hating just saying u don't make any argument for ur case
@@isaacotis5719 He is right. Trust me. The game used to be Great. Then when you invest actual money you have a sort off ove hate relationship. So it's hard to leave. Why would someone who spent that long tell you don't play lol. It's for a reason.. he is not keeping you from something. HE SAVING YOU from something. . LOL SERIOUSLY. I been playing for the entire ten years mostly on in the beginning now mostly off. ... Don't believe us... Do it lol In Neverwinter. You Never Win.
I was a Day 1 Neverwinter PlayStation player and quit when they launched Mod 15 (2018). They completely changed the professions system and took away everyone’s work that many had used real money to achieve and given as a trade of what the devs believed to be an equivalent. It wasn’t and really just made all of what we had worked for obsolete and forced us to start over. This was the first mass exodus from the game. Then the games economy became way out of control and the AD currency and trading system suffered from it. I tried to come back over the years and still have all my inventory from way back when but after seeing content was removed, then resold as new and that zones were at the time, level locked, I just gave up and stayed in ESO. Honestly, I am surprised the game is still running. I expected it to go dark years ago. But I suppose once players catch on they’ll leave too and new unknowing players will come in to be preyed on.
Your locked out of a lot of content unless you pay a sub or buy the stories separately. It's full of loot boxes and almost all cool armor and mounts are locked to the cash shop. You pretty much don't care about any armor you earn in game because it looks as crappy as the last! ESO is just as bad if not worse to be honest! I've played both.
ESO isn’t pay to win. Neverwinter is. The cash shop in ESO is mostly cosmetic and reskins. ESO hasn’t removed content just to resell it back to the player. Neverwinter has. ESO has better server stability overall and Neverwinter for the longest time had issues with stability. Specifically in PE. These are two very different game each with their own issues but one offers a better experience than the other. They can’t be compared.
Remembering playing it back then & trying it out recently again, I think that the game had a huge downgrade... Now you directly do +10k damage, even tho u just started (like wtf?) You don't get to explore & go throught the usual zones. The PVP Part is now non-existant, it was good before if I can recall that well with the lvl ajustments or something. And there were a lot more players than rn. Trying out FF14 rn but you made me want to give it a try one last time & push through the endgame to really confirm if the game has fallen off
I tried to play this game this morning. At the very beginning I grabbed my gear and it told me to use a alt item or something. For 15 minutes I tried to figure out what to do. So I quit and went back to wayfinder.
Yeah that’s actually untrue. You do game experience and experience points by character level is not attached to them. Character level is attached to completion of quests but meanwhile, I believe it’s up on the top right you are gaming experience. I forget what it’s tied to later but you are gaining experience. I think there’s some rewards tied to it at intervals based on the experience, but I can’t swear to that because I haven’t played in a while leveling, however, is not tied to that experience.
No, you won’t do you don’t get to choose at the beginning you have just two Atwill attacks. One is generally speaking AOE, and one is generally speaking a single target. You don’t have to choose you don’t get to choose, and it’s not difficult to decide which one to use if you have multiple targets to use AOE Jeff one target use single target. If you have one big target amongst several mobs you might want to take that single target elite guy out first with the single target and then AOE the rest but it’s not difficult to choose and you don’t get to pick those skills you’ll start out with those and you’ll have to wait a few levels before you unlock choices factor most gases you’re only will have access to like three choices and W paragon and in some cases one or the other is not useful and you’ll change it immediately when you hit paragon
Played this for a while a few years back. Loved the pros listed in the video but soon found out about the grind struggle to end game and eventually lost interest. Great game for beginners definitely but beyond that, it's pay to win/progress for sure.
not pay to win, pay to progress. eventually everyone reaches a hardcap IL, a spender just hits it faster.. but he cant go above the max IL cap of that module. and alot of the grind can be reduced by efficiently farming for upcoming events.. never refine material unless the 2x refinement points are live, never spent trade bars unless the tradebar discount event is live, youre hurting yourself by not using materials when their double/triple events are active.
No, you won’t immediately have three skills unlocked for most of the classes it’s about I think level nine before you get most. Are you get three abilities unlocked you’ll spend most of your virginity play with one ability and you’ll be spamming it as often as it’s off cool down.
I loved the old Neverwinter, I played it on ps4 some years ago when I was 8 and back then you could level up with killing and the map was different but then there was an Update and the game got how it is now but I lost all the fun playing it. In my oppinion the game was one of the best and now its just bad.
I don't disagree with the fact people find it bad now, it's a common theme among the playerbase who have previously played the game. If you've never played the game before, the fact it's free with lots of story content and a decent enough combat system it's worth a try if you're looking for something to play. It's easy to get into and enjoyable from a beginner perspective.
Baldurs gate 3 and the DnD Honor Among Thieves movie got me wanting more forgotten realms content 🤔 I played years ago on ps4 but i didnt know it was "forgotten realms". I didnt even know anything about dnd back then 🤣 Ill probably start anew and casually play through story for more forgotten realms content now that im into dnd 😅🤣
i say it's worth playing. it's a type of game that doesn't require much skill and it's quite relaxing to play. You basically just hold on to a button to spam at will attacks and press your encounter attacks buttons when they're available. You wait until your daily, artifacts and mount attacks are available then use them too. It's funny how players on there are so prideful at this easy button mash game. LOL. One thing i hate most about nw is the community especially on ps4. Once in a while you'll meet some cool people, but for the most part, the community is vey toxic and most of them are the types of people who i wouldn't associate with in real life: middle aged losers, weirdos, or just really dorky folks. Most of the veteran players all know each other on there and aren't really open to make new gaming friends. The dungeon que's are the worst. You have sore losers who will stall the game if their dps character isn't top during a dungeon. You also have badasses who think they're the shit and ruin the fun for everyone. Or you'll have douche bags who just want to stall the game to make others miserable. My advice is to join a guild where you're not expected to be too social where you can benefit off the boons and just enjoy playing the game. The endgame is impossible to get to unless you play for YEARS and spend lots of money. Overall, it's a pretty fun game and relaxing as well, just as long as you stay away from the chat options as much as possible.
Like your vid. Yes the massive count on diffrent currencys is annoying and should have shortend, more than they did with the last mod. As a NW Veteran I could say, you need a supporting guild and about 2000 h to grind your way to toptier without paying real money. I think paying 10 € (or less there are several discounts mostly in decembre) a month for VIP gives nice comfy features and a 1inaMillion Chance for good Loot. If you play WOW you need to pay a lot more with the risk to loose all if your alliance kick you. not so nice. For this MMO you need a close community for the higher dungeons to run. Overall its fun though, but as a beginner a really long distance to grind without help.
