I love italo disco and italo dance from 90's and early 2000. Italian produces bangers that I play on my playlists 20 years. Eamples of my favourite artist form Italy: Soundlovers Gabry Ponte and Eiffel 65 Gigi D'Agostino Prezioso & Marvin Corona Alexia And many many many more. I love italian style in dance music.
Man, you're handsome, also i love that there are more Polish songs on radio now but i love English ones as well! i love listening to italo disco and my mother as well hahaha :)
There's some songs in english (or other languages) that are actually Polish. Like the Blue Cafe one, C-bool and Grommee who are Polish djs, Daria Marx... Also, Endless summer by Oceana was actually a song created for Euro 2012, hosted in Poland and Ukraine (there's Polish stadiums in the clip). And yeah, it's pretty sad how much of a hegemone American/British music scene is. It's almost impossible for any local artists to make a career outside of the country. As you see, we at least know D'Agostino, Maneskin and Italidisco, how many Polish artists are known in Italy? XD
We love old italian music. Al Bano & Romina Power are still in our hearts. Toto Cutugno, Adriano Celentano, Enrico Caruso, Marino Marini, Drupi, Andrea Bocelli.
yea, we should have similar radio language rule as there is for national langs in eg France or Poland that would significantly limit amount songs in english. Pre internet era it was more balanced and you could hear all kind of languges - nowdays it's few national, most english and some token spanish summer hit.

Hey! Just wanted to drop a quick recommendation. If you’re into comedy, you should absolutely check out Mateusz Socha stand-up "Ile można" (2022) (it’s available on RUclips with English subtitles). The guy is insanely funny and his delivery is on point - you’ll be laughing the whole way through. Trust me, it’s one of those shows that’s totally worth your time. I know it’s a bit long, but you could split it into a few parts, like 30-minute reactions. Hope you give it a shot, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it! 😄
Ewelina Lisowska, Sylwia Grzeszczak, Ania Dąbrowska and Sanah are my favourite polish singers :) Salsa, Cleo and Dawid Podsiadło are a close second. I also adore many bands but there's far too many to name!
Most "newer" songs from USA or GB right now are just covers of old songs from the 1970-90's or have a foundation copied from those. Polish songs at least are mostly originals, sometimes influenced by other songs. Be it movies or music or art in general, it seems that the western scene puts emphasis on rehashing old stuff, forsaking true creativity
Italodisco in 80's was huge in Poland. That is how Disco Polo was created.
Yeah, I remember Ken Laszlo, Savage and Gazebo
