I never got to play the original games even to this day, but I loved playing the ORAS games. Just like with X & Y, (which were the first new Pokémon games I’d played since the first Coliseum), I started out with one and bought the next because I loved it so much. Even now, they’re among the few Pokemon games that I wouldn’t mind going back and playing again.

The fact that my homie and I both started omega ruby and alpha (sinking) Sapphire playthroughs on the 10 year anniversary by accident, without the other knowing; and now this video. This game has infinite classic and nostalgia aura, while also bringing a new twist, Mega Evolutions, that doesn't scare away old players who haven't trained in years. I am on my first playthrough btw, must have been fate... or Arceus. Either works.

ORAS are my fave games, and Gen III were my faves before them (I started with Gen II though). Hoenn is SUCH a fun region to explore and the story is great (in Pokemon terms lol) too. So glad these games exist...
This was the first game I got the Gold Trainer Card in but I never got the 200 win streak in all formats. I spent countless hours breeding a competitive team and using competitive strategies just to get wiped by consecutive OHKO moves that never missed. I was convinced it was rigged, so massive kudos for actually completing it
You know a game is good when you can go back and play it years and years later and still enjoy it. I still play the original emerald on my phone with an emulator and it's still just as good to me personally!

Even after all these years I still question how the professor doesn't have his own Pokémon on him at all times, when part of his character is that he prefers studying in nature over in the lab. Nature, you know... the place with wild, unpredictable Pokémon. XD

My favourite time on stream was with this concept! The elusive cabbage donos, Morrigan finally getting arms, getting lost with Gentledude pt.100, chat getting you lost and just in general having fun with you and everyone else on stream. You can really tell how hard you’ve been working on content over the last few months and it’s paying off! Keep up the great work I can’t wait for the next one 🥰

The sheer amount of extra Steven time and comments on how attractive he is, especially with the gift shiny Beldum, just makes me feel so validated for loving Steven over 20 years ago in Sapphire🩵 That aside, it's still a great set of remakes. So happy Hoenn got mega evolution and soaring. I love how they made Team Aqua and Magma so distinct, I immediately wanted to play the other version. Getting handed a mega Lati@s is my only complaint beyond the nerf Metagross got with dark and ghost types' changes in Gen 6
