Hey thanks man for this video. The Dewalt manual was “see the engine manual” for how to change the oil. I downloaded the Honda manual, at least the ones i was finding, didn’t even discuss the dual cap, dual drain concept. I thought they were different chambers (like engine oil area different than transmission oil area). Glad you straightened that out. Thanks for the good work. LIked and subscribed.
Thanks for the video! I was confused as well about the duel cap, dual drain concept, and thought they were separate chambers. The oil change was very easy!
Have now used this to clean house siding and it performed well ruclips.net/user/postUgkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMRNqX I also bought some wand extensions which enabled higher washing without needing a ladder. I recommend both. This unit arrived quickly, was easy to assemble (only had to attach the handle), and arrived in perfect condition. The only very slight downgrade from a perfect score is the design has a low handle and requires pulling from the side. My old washer was an upright model, while this one is more horizontal. Other than that, it's perfect for my needs. It has a great deal of pressure and more easily cleaned the house siding, porch rails and concrete than did my older model. The engine is a bit louder, as well, but the total time to clean was reduced by the more powerful spray. Did I mention it starts on the first or second pull every time?!! I am definitely happy with this model.
I have the same unit. Changed the engine oil last fall and never had a problem and have used it since, again no problems Now all of a sudden it's slowly leaking engine oil from the drain plug which feels seated and not over tightened Any suggestions? Thank's
The question how much oil exactly does the motor take. Cuz I read not to overfill and I believe if you feel it till it leaks from the other side it's over filled
I had a lot more glitter then that on my break in, on the motor and the pump and I mean GLITTER, every oil change after has been good though they recommend every 100 hours but since I run mine daily I change it every 50 and works wonders
Hi Bryan, Thank you very much for the great videos! Can I put Synthetic Oil instead of the regular. Will it effect the gaskets? Any perspective would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
@@BryanHansen Thanks Bryan for the quick response. I have an old DXPW3025. What would be for both please? I apologize for being a novice and I have not changed due to the lack of use. If using a , change oil every 150 hours thereafter. The I want to ensure I am changing the oils correctly. You have been a blessing with your videos and content. Hey man I recently bought the same model, I didn’t know you had to change that oil cap for the breathable one I run it for about 3 hours with it, would it cause any damage ?
Hey Buddy why do you still have the shipping cap (red cap) on the AAA water pump…. That is only for shipping and is to be replaced with a vented cap that was shipped with the unit. Great video.
Hi, I have a dewalt 3400, and the water started to come out from the place where it suppose to suck the chemicals, do you know what it could be? Maybe clogged? Nice videos by the way
There is a check ball valve that the soap line goes to, I would check that first and see if it is stuck open. From there is is a matter of troubleshooting leaks in the supply lines.
Mine actually didn’t come with it for whatever reason. I had drilled a pin hole in this one until they could send me another. I have the breathable one on there now.
Weird. I would just look at the bolts around the carburetor to make sure that they are tied to start with. I would maybe run some seafoam through it to make sure that the float isn’t sticking as well.
@@BryanHansen Thanks Bryan, I will check the carburetor out. I usually put Seafoam in all my small engine fuel, amazing stuff. I'll let you know if/when I figure it out.
Still leaking, not from carburetor though. Fuel drip is from bottom of engine block, could be where the fuel tank and engine connect. Seems to only leak for a few hours after being run, then stops.
I have since added an hour meter to help with maintenance: ruclips.net/video/A7Jdj7c1LWs/видео.html

Very good video with step by step and thanks for letting me know that its time for my change on the same model.

Hello how you put oil in to the pump
The question how much oil exactly does the motor take. Cuz I read not to overfill and I believe if you feel it till it leaks from the other side it's over filled
Thank You!
Thanks you 🎉😊

Thanks for the video. I’m having a hard time loosing the oil plug. How did you loosen it?
The drain or fill plug?
I guess after 9 years I should change the oil,😂
It's been 2 for me and let's just say it's midnight black
Hey Bryan, I’m having trouble with opening the oil pin and I’m also wondering what tools u used to open it with.
The drain plug or the fill plug
Good video
Is it mandatory to “IMMEDIATELY” run the machine after changing either the Honda engine oil or AAA pump oil? Thanks.
Nope
👍🏽👏👏👏2 hours just to find outy it has 2 oil fill ports.geeez thank u sir🫡

In the pump or the motor? I wouldn’t change it regardless, but I wouldn’t use that oil going forward.

@@BryanHansen thanks man
Hey Bryan, thanks for this video!!! I picked up SAE 10w-30 Honda genuine oil from Home Depot will that work?
Yeah, that should work.
Hey Buddy why do you still have the shipping cap (red cap) on the AAA water pump…. That is only for shipping and is to be replaced with a vented cap that was shipped with the unit. Great video.
I don’t.
Wait what, does the Simpson pump come with oil? I didn't know, used for roughly 5 hours
It comes with oil.
Hi. Do you have a video on the Dewalt 3300 Honda engine?
No, sorry just this one
How do you replace the pump oil? Unfortunately I can't find an owner's manual anywhere.
I have that exact video posted up in my videos on my channel
Thank you very much!
Whats the recommended oil for the engine itself and what weight? Thank's
30
What’s the recommended oil change interval for both the pump and engine ?
Engine was 24 hours and pump was 100 hours
@@BryanHansen got it thank you! I am getting one of these pressure washers to start my own side business and see how it does

After you break in the motor with the first quart of oil, how long does it last after the first oil change?
100 hours
@@BryanHansen thanks! Just confirming thats with motor oil not pump oil correct?
@@chrisdelacruz1355 correct! You can use the sight glass on the back of the pump but I would do that at 100 hours as well. Oil is cheap.
Why didn’t you put on the breathable oil cap on? You still had on the original red cap.

@@BryanHansen ok last question…. My cap doesn’t screw in. And when I pull the cap the black peace comes off fairly easy. That normal?
They are a little finicky. I had to line mine up for it to finally tighten down in there. It’s not forcefully, but there is an alignment portion
Wait. What? Whats the story with the breathable oil cap?
@@stefanbuscaylet What’s your question?
What kind of oil did you use?

I have the same unit and it leaks fuel after I use it - haven't figured out why yet
Has it always done it?
