A special signature pick made for John Petrucci and based upon one of his personal worn pick. It’s made out of ultex and it features a custom beveled edge that let you glide across the strings. The sound is very warm and not as bright as would be a brand new jazz III ultex and this is his main characteristic. Very articulate and precise if you do a lot of alternate picking and sweep. It cost more than your standard jazz pick but it’s worth a try

I personally think that every standard ultex jazz picks becomes smoother with beveled edges... So it's cooler to have your kind of custom primetone by using the same pick over and over again.. By the way these are cool too
