Hey Funky, couldn't wait for you review on the cube so found this. My cube comes today, it's an absolute gamechanger as far as I am concerned. Keep doing what you do
@ Jacqueline Johnson, you can afford one. You may not be able to get one today. Put 50p a day into a jar. You will have one this time next year. Or you can do absolutely nothing and this time next year you will be in the same or worse position. We are our thoughts and beliefs.

I may invest! I think Zerowater use the same (or similar) carbon filtration system. I'm not a salesmen for Zerowater but since I started using it I haven't been sick once in well over a year, I didn't even get any of the common winter bugs. I think our tap water carries a lot of shit in it that we're unaware of.
I've got the lifesaver bottle, bought it very recently just for shtf well you never know do you, those jerrycans are great for a family, but there is only me so the bottle is more than enough for the time being. I've also a couple of filters for walking that I use. Any filter is worth getting atm especially as we've not been through anything too harsh right now.
Great vid Bud, Just bought my blue JerryCan ($300) seems steep but it can filter 41,000 16 fl oz water bottles. Definitely can be a literal Lifesaver if the SHTF. I have a feeling im gonna need in 2024 especially around election time if you know what i mean 😉
Brought the item. Only issue is getting proper filters. The filters are suppose to come in a sealed foil pouch. Brought my jerrycan thru Amazon. The jerry can came with filter installed. Ordered two spares from reseller and two filters arrived. Both filters were not in a sealed foil pouch. So how long were they sitting on the shelf. You do not want to fond out in an emergency.
Yes I know they are, and for a good reason. They are the best and they are used in Africa and India. 2p a litre for 20,000 litres anywhere in the world
We used a lifesaver on our overland trips to North Africa. Great bit of kit but we found storage between trip would taint the water's taste. If used then stored for a period I'd recommend having a spare unopened filter as a stand by. Even following the instructions leaving water in the can. With 4 trips over a period of 5 year's we never had any issue's with contaminated water not a hint of Delhi belly.
We tried the carbon filter but had to take it out due to terrible taste. Have tried to flush the filter with clean water, still has that taste. It's like it ruins the filter. I feel ripped off because I want to use it but can't get that taste out. Any advice
@GStone-jl1ov we just replaced the filter and left the empty can to stand overnight with some milton fluid in it, then rinsed it out and that seemed to work.
Is it made of BPA plastic or what exactly? How long can U store the water in the can for before using? If the can is in the direct sun and heat or in a hot car and the water has been hot for some time is this safe to drink i.e. bacteria growth and how long afterwards should U drink it by? Thanking U.
