From all the quinceanera shows on youtube and on tv. She is probably the only quinceanera girl I loved the most. A lot of these shows show the girls giving attitude and wanted everything big. Forgetting the culture and what 15 are really about. This girl obviously very grounded and her family loves her and want everything for her. I'm so happy to be able to see this experience.
I have bicultural kids. Im teaching them about our Aztec roots as I teach myself we only embrace certain things about our culture... I mean my name its Tlacahetl for g-ds sake.
Her dad calling her love and light. Ugh my heart. This German/Irish girl wants to be invited to the party! Such a beautiful family and a wonderful tradition.
Me, who took ASL in college and is not deaf, but loves the deaf community: GETS TOO HYPE AND DAMN NEAR CRIES WHEN THE YOUNG LADY STARTS SIGNING This filled my soul with so much joy ♡ Edit: look at these beautiful ppl who agree. Yall something else. Stay signing ppl 🤗☆
Samira Gandhi Ñunuvera well as far as I know My background is more of the Benin and Togo peoples , but being born in America you really don’t look that much into different cultures that you come from , but recently I’m exploring more of my ancestors background
This was very interesting! I really enjoyed seeing a new aspect of a quinceanera that celebrates their indigenous background and the deaf community. Every quince is different, but I enjoyed to see how another family celebrates it!
Me : *sees the mannequins with quinceañera dresses* “Mira que hermosos vestidos!” Me : *sees curly* Also me : SHI I thought curly was a mannequin 💀💀💀 He’s cute doe 🥺
Curly....this is a perfect series for you! We get to see you with the fashion, our traditions and helping to make a special day brighter. The love this family has for la senorita just made me so happy. I going to love this series.
Your Soo beautiful little girl. Now a little lady. Congratulations. I wish I coulda gave both my daughters a quince. I have a 17 and soon to be 15 year old girls. But finances are hard for me. But I tealñy enjoyed this video and found myself teary eyed
BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!! BEAUTIFUL!!! BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW! THIS HAS BEEN THE MOST BEAUTIFUL QUINCEAÑERA CELEBRATION EVER! GOD BLESS THIS YOUNG LADY. AMEN.
Man this was beautiful! What a fantastic way they integrated the indigenous, Catholic, deaf, and even american community. Awesome how all her friends respect that as well! She and her family deserve the world and more! ❤
Wonderfully Done! Great video! I love all the communities being represented. Especially the Indigenous culture - thank you for sharing the importance of roots and being grounded. Wish many good things for the young lady. She has a great amount support surrounding her.
So my quince's supposed to be in a year. I've started to plan some stuff already but I'm not sure if I'll be able to do it. My parents are struggling financially and I'm questioning myself if I should still do it. Growing up, my mom told me she really wanted a quince but couldn't afford it back in Mexico and she really want to me to have one. I hope everything works out.
Me too! I never see tierra caliente get as much hype so when I heard the zapateado I freaked out. My parents are from Michoacán but I live here in Florida😀😀
This video really touted my heart, because I always try to include my culture in everything especially my indigenous culture it’s something very special to me and this video inspired me soo soo much for my upcoming 15 !! Tlazohcamati( thank you) 🙌🏼
This was so beautiful! The fact that they all had a part in creating decorations and we’re all able to participate in the quince in some form or another really shows how tight knit they are. I loved this quince so much. Bless her and her family! Thank you Pero Like for sharing this with us!
Bro this made me tear up alot. This makes me want to have a daughter as much as I want a son. May God Bless this girl with everything, health, money, success and never ending joy

As a mexican with hearing loss and a deaf brother and being away from my abuelita, this video got me crying like a baby in a good way. Thank you so much for making this video.
I think Buzzfeed needs to pay for a quince for Curly. He's so awesome and sweet and I just wish he was my primo plus the way he was talking about it I need to see his "mini Met Gala" look and he better go extra over the top, tiara, corset, gloves, the works!
Cruly: "I'm not taking the dress off." Also Curly : Takes dress off. Curly make sure nobody talks you down bc GuRl you looking fine as h e double hockey sticks
i grew up speaking 4 since i am mixed. the problem is to keep accents untainted , when i speak german everyone in germany can tell I speak french also.

Wow. Que emoción... Llore de emoción. Tampoco tuve mis quince pero tuve una pequeña fiesta entre mis amigas. This tradition must never stop in our latin community. It was so beautiful and culturally rich. Thanks for sharing it💚🙏✌
As a person with a Deaf sister. This definitely hit all the right spots. ❤❤❤.And also i like ASL is different from South African and English sign. But its nice to see the differences and the similarities. Loved this video. ❤❤❤
She looked so beautiful. Sochi looked liked a real life princess. I remember when I was in high school, a few of the Hispanic girls (went to an all girls school) bought in their invitations and with the calligraphy that were on them, they looked like wedding👰💒💐 invitations.
Beautiful embracing her roots im 100% indigenous mexican american time for many remember them selves by continue tradition language danzas help me out thru everything and challenges i faced in life. There are sturggles but there is hope within it. Blessings tlazcohmati
6:19 The song here speaks to me. I'm not from Guerrero but my beloved paternal grandfather (and his father's family) is. Also this is great and I'm indigenous (nahua and purepecha) too!
I love everything about this! Someone said Curly is the fairy godmother and it's so true. Also the love that Xochitl has for her familia and the love they have for her really shows ugh so beautiful.
I’m so glad that she was able to incorporate all these cultures on her special day. I feel like indigenous cultures are treated as something of the past which is sad when your ancestors live through you and guide you.

Ever since the whole Bridezilla idea got out, everybody wants to be a demanding drama queen.
Awww thank you so much I appreciate it!!
I love everything about this episode.
Also her family seems to be in kahoots with each other, like, she has great people supporting her through thick and thin. Great for her!
So happy to see a latina embrace her indigenous roots and not just the colonizing Spaniard side.
Agree! I didn’t realize that quinceañeras originated with the Aztecs. Pretty cool
I have bicultural kids. Im teaching them about our Aztec roots as I teach myself we only embrace certain things about our culture... I mean my name its Tlacahetl for g-ds sake.
You aren't Aztec. Cortez and his men wiped most of them out and sold the rest into slavery. There are many other native civilizations in Mexico
