Dale love the videos very helpful. Maybe someone can help me out on my ax15. It shifts fine when cold no problem once it warms up almost impossible to shift into first and grinds bad in reverse just don’t understand why it only happens when it warms up that the clutch doesn’t want to disengage
Was doing research on my 1990 Jeep, read your comment....mine is doing the same thing!!!! It's at a shop right now an I'm being told the problem is in the transmission....any advice from any jeeper????
I can't find where to put the vent back into my AX15 transmssion - when I bought the '89 YJ it was hanging loose (next to the broken reverse light switch wires - that I did fix)
yeah, it doesn't normally have a vent tube on the outside that i know of. You may have to drop the skid plate and lower the tranny to see what is going on there.
Good Morning, is there many modifications needed to replace a 2006 jeep engine with a 2013? on the internet anything around 2006 are almost given away, compared to early and later years.

@@highwayxj9397 I knew about the nv3550 but man didn't know about the other stuff. If it were me I'd keep that one automatic and get a 98 or 97 already manual or swap it to manual.
Yep. Big big plans! Haha! well, actually, Big plan is have my daughter fix it up with me. We're already 1 project in on it. That video will be coming soon!
I found thay if you out the transmission in 3rd gear, its easy to mate the splines together.
You made it look so easy. I've been STRUGGLING ALLLLLLLLL DAY

Hey Fernando! Yeah. It went in easier than I was expecting. I hope yours goes well too.

Congratulations on the dropping install of the transmission.
