It always amazes me how companies can overlook this extremely valuable and FREE resource of customer feedback through resources like RUclips and product reviews that can be easily found everywhere. This information is the most valuable information that they could possibly receive to see how the customer is using the product, what they like, dislike, or even hate about the product. This invaluable information could be used for future product development and improvements to make theirs the "best in class" and set the bar for others to beat. But no, they just let this free information fall into the cracks and go unnoticed, and then fail and wonder what happened. Go figure. Anyway, it's clear to me that EGO is not ready for primetime with their lawn tractors.

My experience dealing with Ego customer service hasn't been good. Most videos on RUclips of products are from people that were given free products and they give raving positive reviews. I respect that you're giving honest feedback positive or negative 👍

Appreciate the video, as I am about to pull the trigger on the same mower. Regarding them not watching the videos, I'll play devil's advocate. They may have RUclips blocked/blacklisted, and are not able to view YT while working with corporate assets. Just a thought. Thanks again!
The other reps I delt with were able to watch the videos just fine. All comes down to who you get as a rep :) All good now that I know the process of getting the full charge to work.

Those forms may have some level of legal necessity 🤷♂️🤷♂️.
I get that, and respect that, but they could have worked with me some :)
It is also likely that they get a lot of these basic issues with people who are not familiar with lithium battery powered equipment. That being said, once they knew you were a knowledgeable user, they should have shifted gears, because this problem may affect many others, and it's in their best interest to find the solution.

which app and how exactly can you chat with ego? In Europe we only have the Connect app and I don't see any contact option there
Open the app, go to My Account (lower right) hit feedback, on feedback screen click the tractor then add your feedback.
It sounds like he's using the ego connect app which I believe is still in beta... That's the app I use as well.
Thank you very much for this kind of video. I've always wanted to know how EGO customer service is. I definitely agree with the reset. As the car industry now with smart cars also needs restarts. I used to work in a small engine dealership. When I worked their. We never had this issue. Never had this many crappie computers. Wish we could go back to quality basics, but we would need to rewire many people's thinking in economics, and how government and money works.
