You should’ve checked the battery on the challenger. If it doesn’t have enough battery voltage/charge it will not let the transmission shift at all and it will click like that. I hope you buy that challenger. You could make a fortune even parting it out.
HOW MUCH YOU THINK THAT JUNKED HEMI WILL GO FOR?

Buy the Lexus sell it to tyler hoover
buy that white dodge
We used to burn mag wheels in bonfires. Made for an awesome light show. Also, Volkswagen engine blocks.
The Lexus is a must 😍 beautiful old tank. It's even that Toyota that it has the same key as my Yaris haha! Beautiful time capsule. The rest up to this point have been sheds.
I inherited my mother in law’s ‘06 Mercury Grand Marquis with 23,000 miles on it. It looks like an old lady car, but is pristine. It’s been serviced and maintained every 3 months since new. And on top of everything, it drives and rides like a dream.
The LS430 is GORGEOUS. Despite it being 16 yrs old. Would love to see it on your channel Randy
Watching you doing a co part walk around while I’m on my lunch ...while working at co part love the vids 😁
It does happen. My Mom had Dr appointments, but was quite ill and passed away. Had to cancel all her Dr appointments. RIP MOM, I love you and miss you every day!
DUDE ive been looking everywhere for that challenger. I actually know the story on it, you can pm me if u want more info, but the jist of it is that it was a Test vehicle for Chrysler and was never given a VIN like a normal car since it would never be on the roads. It was being transported to Oklahoma and when they were driving it into the warehouse the cars computer had an issue and smoked some wires disabling the fuel pump, starter, etc. They did not repair it as it was just a test vehicle and wouldnt be used anymore anyways, and they had to write it down as a junk title because a VIN doesnt exist on that car, if you look by dash where VIN usually is theres nothing there, see for yourself. And in this case it has to be sold as junk and will never be able to get a title, its a mud toy at this point. I have pictures to prove this. Im not blowing smoke here.
My daughter's GT350 was an exec drive car in Michigan, then it was held onto for awhile. Bought it through a friend's family network of dealerships when Ford auctioned it via their network. Got is with about 2K miles for a screaming deal. Have all the paperwork
Great for a dakota driveline swap..
It makes sense I wonder if the they were testing a feature or changes for a future Challenger and didn't want people to know about
@@frankmckee1003 A lot of these are also tech training vehicles.
Derek McWhirter please DM ME IF YOU YOU HAVE INFORMATION TO PURCHASE THE TITLE
Challenger was probably a donation to a tech school for students to learn on. When they get a new one, the manufacturer requires them to salvage them. They used to make them crush them.
Don't question lexus quality and engineering Toyota has used all of their Kaitzan philosophy that proves without a doubt they are now the finest automaker in the world!
Hi Randy. 75 Camaro resto-mod, LS swap, restoration. I once owned a 77 LT. Love that body style. The Lexus.
@@thomassmith6027 That car will end up a race car for sure.
@@thomassmith6027 ..yup...Even my fave car dude..."Psycho Dan" on...Fantom Works would strait lose his mind if you brought him that car...And , if he maybe agreed to work on it...Its at least 2 yrs min. just to get it in driveable condition....
Sidekick and Lexus were in amazing shape. Get the pair!!
Definitely go with the Lexus, what a beautiful car. Randy you freak!! 😆
Lexus any day of the week 😁
Randy I've followed you well subbed for years and not only love your content I come to get the laughs I can guarantee a pick me up laugh every vid even when things don't go well during your walk around or condition of a car problem that surfaced after you purchased you still keep that good energy and turn that lemon to a big pitcher if lemonade and keep it moving.. thanks for the extreme excellence even through the storm you bring positive energy.
Recently bought a '92 Camaro 25th Anniversary Z-28 with 40K miles for $800 with matching numbers, including frozen and busted block (still cranked, ran rough!), no dents or rust and had some major buyer's remorse with that!
Randy that Lexus is really nice and quick for what it is my grandfather had one and he took care of it and didn't drive it to much and it got decent mpg
Keep up the good work Randy. Like the light carnage vids as it shows what damage cars can take and what are the safest.
Always good to see Monkey Wrench Mike! Hope the gigs are going well brother!
Daniel Perkins 2nd..
if you have not already check out his RUclips page
Thanks Daniel!!
The A5 is mostly an Audi only platform but it’s used on the Porsche Macan also. The 2.0 engine is used in the golf but mounted longitudinal.
GTI has the 2.0, you’re right
You have got to pick up that Lexus . That engine will run for ever. One of the best engines Toyota ever made .
That's a 4 or 5k car around here all day. Actually looking for an ls430 as my next daily now that my current car is payed off
Lexus, one of the finest automobiles made! I’ve got a 2000 LS400 with 248000 miles and it runs like a sewing machine! You can’t go wrong!,!!
I have already commented on the other video - that Audi 2litre is identical with VW GTI - both have chains and are great motors
Get the lexus they are solid i just turned 17 and it was my first car 6700$ 87,000 and its been reliable and solid i love it
that Yellow Camaro looks just like my first car in high school. I would save it, parts for Gen 2 Camaro's are easy and cheep to come by.
I owned a Sidekick just like it, I would not hesitate to buy it!! Mine was well over 160,000 and ran great. Cheers!
On the Challenger...I had the same thing happen in my wife's G35...pouring rain, driving down the street, a truck driving in the opposite direction splashed water into the grill and water went into one of the two intakes....seized the engine....bent the valvetrain. Insurance co. totaled the car...we were 3 months from paying it off.
there is so much potential in all those cars
I love cars that older people have owned I bought a 1995 mercury sable for 300$ has 95.000 miles on it and it is in really good shape
I like the donated Lexus. Very nice.
took my chevy to the levy and covered it with water, now it's a bio hazard
That donation Lexus ls430 is 50 shades of silver ... been in many minor accidents by the looks
Lexus is definitely the winner this week...... the challenger would have needed a second jump box hooked up to the battery in the trunk... just jumped one yesterday... also very possible it sucked up water, had one at a dealership I worked at lock up after a sales person drove it through about 4” of standing water
Another great video , that Camaro though looks like a sweet find would make a great project
Randy, those are not mag wheels on the Camero. they are what we old school hot rodders called styled steel wheels. the Camero would make a good drag racer with a lot of work
The 2003 Lexus is a "Must Buy"
]Audi is from a company called VAG which stands for Volkswagen Audi Group thanks Randy from the UK :))
LS 430 for the win...Game , set and match...!!!!!
I just ordered a pair of the headphones....looking forward to see if they’re as good as claimed!
The ‘75 Camaro only has a 5 digit odometer, I wonder how they claim to know what the actual mileage really is or might be.
That Lexis was definitely a win
The Lexus was real good.. Should definitely buy it
Randy that lex will run that crown Vic
That Lexus has auto wipers which is pretty impressive for its age
My brother had a Suzuki. It was a nice little SUV
I know that Sonata isn’t on your list Randy but I love it
That camaro was in a pond. I've pulled a few cars out of ponds and thats exactly what they looked like
Yes, Randy same 2.0TFSI engine in that 2010 Audi as what you get in mk6 golf GTi’s 👍
$200 for headphones ? I don't have money to piss away like autoauction refills!!!
lol, don't rage
if you can't buy quality products, then don't
the Bose QC35 is 350$ and is one of my best investments
You could if you really wanted. $1 a day saved away and in 200 days you get them. $2 and $5 brings it quicker. Question is do you want to invest in headphones like that? Or better yet, find other ways to make and grow money so then you can buy whatever you want. Honestly all it is - is mindset, strategy and self discipline.
When you apply the code it will be 62 bucks
Aw. SOMEONE sounds jealous. 😄
I really like the videos with Mike!
Jurgen DX thanks Jurgen!!
A Crossfire is a Mercedes with another skin from the ChryslerDaimler days
Put a little silicone spray on the window track of the Lexus and it’ll be fine.
LEXUS is the best one. But the Sidekick and the Kompressor are good alternatives. Poor Challenger is screaming quietly to be let loose.....darn it.
I love it when Monkey Wrench Mike is with you... you guys are an absolute hoot!! That Challenger is clean! The Lexus is a super nice car. That thing would run forever if it was maintained properly.
ExitThirteen Thank you!!
Crown Vic over a Lexus? That’s a stretch, Randy.
I don't think he was being serious , at least I hope not 😁
bren70sss s who knows? Although, a cop car would be cool to have. I’d write “Not The” real small and “POLICE” real huge on the door.
Those Lexus 430’s are nice. That thing is not going to go cheap. I would be surprised if it sold for under $3,000!
Dang shouldve done a tour of that black bio Silverado next to the challenger!!!
I have a Gti and yes it does have a 2.0 turbo
Judging on why the dash is apart they probably were looking for a relay or some wiring that they may have thought was the issue it's probably the relay because you dont hear a starter engage. This was for the sidekick but all in all great video randy
That SLK doesn't look so bad as long as the roof works ok ... headlights and taillights can be replaced with amazing aftermarket units ... those cars are not known for tranmission issues .. a good service and back on the road ... at $300 or less i'd take it looks rust free :-)
That red sidekick looks better than that last POS sidekick u checked out at copart
Toyotas and Lexus don't always throw battery light. Most of the time they'll give a check engine light for electrical issue
Thank you Randy for putting the carnage back on subscribed again I used to look forward to watching your videos and now I can do it again your channel is due reason I was able to get at nice vehicle because I was watching which you looked for and I really appreciate it keep up the good work now Randy and I also love T k's garage
I’m gonna watch that Lexus. Added it to my watch list. Thanks Randy.
Auction date 2-4-2020 on that one.
Camaro- Body is decent. A candidate for a frame up for the right price. Depends on the hidden rust.
That Benz is a big lumpy over square 2.3 litre FOUR cylinder w supercharger and needs a good (new) counter balance strut that is 20 bucks on rock auto and takes 15 min to swap out. grab it.
Not only superchargers you have to remember there are destination charges all over the place. I was at the mall a few months ago they had them a Walgreens had one, hotels ect
To put in netural you have to pop plastic trim by shifter n pull up lil pole looks like a e brake
Randy you need to start AAR GERMAN EDITION channel
There's plenty of superchargers Randy.
There usually in the back of parking lots. A Tesla just did a coast-to-coast in 45 hours.
Someone painted "dibs" on the window of that Suzuki. I bet it's the same person that hid the key to deter other people that might come to inspect the car, and also probably removed a fuse to stop the car from cranking at all.
My baby sitter had that year Camaro. You had to lift the door to shut it. It was still a bitchin' Camaro though and all my elementary school friends were impressed by the car and Dina, my lovely sitter
You should bring an obd scanner too ... I got a zonda one payed shipping $6.99
I ordered a pair of them. Thanks Randy
I got 242 k on my suburban and it still runs. Original drivetrain
id buy the lexus ls its a really good car and honestly, it will never stop running. They sell really easily on a lot. Everyone knows that toyota products are nearly bomb proof. Toss it off a cliff, still runs like new. Ive only owned GM cars, hondas, toyotas and two classic BMWs and the toyota and the GM cars i had never failed me. 3 Oldsmobile Cutlass Cieras. Love them.
That camaro would make a great race car
@Auto Auction Rebuilds - sorry to see the MB turned into a 'foodstamp' car.
The Tesla walk through - nice, unfortunately not going to 'save the world' regarding energy.
The 'little old lady's car' would be a nice flip but sounds like prices are going through a 'seasonal' adjustment for taxes - in which case it may be too high to flip for a decent profit. It is a good thing you like the scent of 'old lady' as with your coming wedding will also have the opportunity once 'old' hits to enjoy on a daily basis. Congratulations!
Thank you. I enjoy strolling through memory lane. Spent some time helping a friend in his yard. His fork truck didn't have the safety beeping but was huge. He had a couple of lifts he never got around to putting in so used that monster. And you are so right, 'slighting' a title, at least in my state, can land you in the pokey and not good for future business.
I enjoy your walk through videos along with your entertaining banter. Thank you.
“Foodstamp car” ?
@@RedEye19 - the Mercedes that had not been taken care of inside - neglect turned it into a 'food stamp' car. Not literally a car you buy with food stamps.
That Lexus is a peach! Gotta snag that
Carnage I will watch the site videos again
If you get the Tesla, you could always go to Rich Rebuilds and the Electrified Garage to get it fixed!
Get the sidekick! WatchJRgo will help.you get it going!
If you can get the Sidekick cheap (
Should have hooked up a jumper box and tried starting the Camaro
I have a 2000 SLK 230. Looks like someone messed with the top hydraulics. Timing chain suppose to be changed at 100K.
239560 miles on a non existence engine. frame is a frame the rest can be done. if I was there would have gotten the Camaro. beautiful car
So you broke the Camaro’s door, the Mercedes SLK. It happens, we don’t care. The Suzuki and the Lexus are winners. Very good cars.
The L'S 430 is the prize on the lot today. Give it a little fluff and buff then drive it just the way it is. I bet you could get another 200k out of it with normal maintenance.
When randy did the intro i died😂😂😂😂😂
You need to jump the challenger at the battery in the trunk it doesn’t like to be jumped in the front I work on dodge cars all the time
Challenger; would your VIN data sites tell you more about this car? I'm disappointed that you did not check the important window on the Sidekick. Buy the Lexus! Too bad its not lower miles for Turo. Great to see Mike!
Depending on the year Audu and VW do share a 2.0 turbo chain driven engine ... the determining factor is the CCTA engine code
You could fix that yellow Camaro with a simple radiator cap replacement. Remove the cap, back the car up, and put another car underneath the cap. Easy peasy!
Randy could make the moldy Camaro a runner again lol
About that Challenger I worked at a dealership I won't say what name but it was a Chrysler dealership and I seen a brand new Challenger 2200 miles to get its first oil change oil was drained never put back in as it was in the car wash couldn't hear the engine rapping it locked up before the car wash was over the technician that made the mistake ran over filled up the oil like nothing happened Insurance claim adjuster believed the engine just blew up and the car wash and that's how that story goes
Get that Suzuki sidekick I had 3 of them super reliable and fun to bad its a automatic
I’d strip that Challenger and make a drag car out of it. The Lexus would be awesome.I love those LS models.
Please give an update on your house and shop!
The LEXUS is a no-brainer. You just can't lose with the Lexus if the price is right.
Love walk around, hate carnage.
