The thing that bothers me about flip is that it doesn't have clipping. Let say that you draw a character standing on the floor, and you want to make this effect where the camera moves to the right to point out another character, and the first three frames moves by inches, is kinda frustrating doing that without clipping.

Glad you enjoyed it! We actually covered Procreate's animation capabilities in comparison to Krita, but we'll definitely keep that in mind

I use flipaclip and I probably won’t switch, but I have nothing against animation desk (yes I’ve tried it). I just prefer flip actually. But I would use animation desk as a backup.

I recommend toonsquid *mostly for the camera that you can move and key frames that are very useful*

Honestly I pig animation desk because well the canvas is size on FlipaClip annoying me to death.
This should be updated cuz I know that FlipaClip has been optimized for a while and even has more brushes and new menu. I haven’t used animation desk so I’m hoping that they revisit this two.
But flipaclip has gotten worse

😅 esa aplicación amarilla es una copia de flipaclip pero yo la use y por un tiempo fue mejor que flipaclip porque flipaclip agrego algo que alentaba la línea y forzaba la línea a ser muy redonda y no podías dibujar picos estaba mejor optimizada esa app

I love Flip a Clip. I can do so many things with that app that it's not even funny. For me Flip a Clip is tops.

@@Drischa time depends on detail, the ideal Time length of the animation, and the software, Etc. It's not just animation on general it depends on other stuff too

@Davindersingh-bo6ek Frame by fame animation can lead to the thing you're animating change over time without you noticing while animating. Something could've moved too much, something could've moved too little, something could've moved too late, something could've moved too early, and any of those that can ruin the movement you're trying to make. Shading is difficult, animating is time-consuming, hands are a nightmare to draw, walking can be confusing sometimes, and sometimes you can end up having to restart the whole thing if you mess ONE thing up.
@@ImpoSher I now understand , so the main problem is with redoing colouring and shading to every frame + other problems (- consistent characters size,shape, etc) . Which is time consuming.

It's worth it tho! I animated quite a bit before I got premium, it wasn't bad. When I did get premium I still felt pretty happy! Plus its all in one purchase. You don't need a monthly subscription.
@ObjectnimationsOSC Yea I take back what I said. I feel terrible for whoever has to pay 70 dollars a year to use that app.
