They just don't write films like they used to, nor is their attention to details focused on the right details
Yinsen should've at least gotten a flashbacks cameo in Endgame, considering what significance his actions had on MCU.

The Theme Song really goes well with the scene
That escape scene felt like it's a horror movie for terrorists. I'd really love to see a dark Iron Man movie without any other super hero in it and old Tony being completely lost in life. So he becomes a violent vigilante with a suit that resembles more the Iron Monger.
We get that in comic but if turn into movie that would be grim as hell

3:01 Damn Tony fucking cooked all of of those dudes. Survival and revenge for himself and Yinsen aside, that's still so fucking brutal. Those guys are engulfed and burnt to a crisp, one of the most painful deaths imaginable. Thing is some definitely survived if they weren't fully sprayed with the flames, which has got to be worse, cause that highly combustible fuel he used burns hot and steady, and if they survive from it not having hit a certain portion of their body, the rest is still gonna be unrecognizable, shriveled, and their nerves, flesh, muscle, limbs, even bones will be pulverized and unrecognizable. Any life they have as they slowly die afterwards is gonna be a husk of soot and ash, unable to move and their brains glitching out from how much suffering they've endured. Did em dirty, Stark, but at least they deserved it (I mean I don't know who the fuck deserves all of THAT, but hey, if you don't want to do the time, don't do the crime. Or in this case: If you don't want the flame, don't be to blame. Ooh, or: If you don't want to cook, don't be a crook. Lmao if you don't want to burn, then you better learn. Don't want the smoke? and not a single bullet hits at stark's eyes
It's almost as if they included some kind of large light to attract fire directly to the place where the armor is thickest, and people generally shoot at center mass.
Using this clip to extract out sound effects for an Iron Man game is tedious
I only have one major problem with Marvel movies. It is the unspoken psychology of large superhuman forces saving or destoying society or even the human race. It is an unspoken reality wherein non-superhumans are all but spectators or pawns before great powers, to include those that imbibe this genre. In much the same way, I believe the priests of Greece and Rome mitigated against the personal responsibility of citizens. Does this inspire heroics...by example? Just something to think about.

Yeah it's probably my least favourite part about the (relatively) grounded first movie. I wish they'd have toned down the Mk1 flight scene slightly. Possibly given it a parachute or something. It's just a bit jarring.
The entire movie is about a billionaire who survives an attack that killed every single marine, being captured, somehow escaping that by making a super suit made of impenetrable steel, which has flamethrowers and can survive falls, bullets, explosions etc, that not even the world's smartest minds could even come up with, all with a "box of scraps".
He then escapes to fight another guy with an even bigger suit.
Yea you dont exactly go to marvel movies for realism. I dont know why you would expect it.
@@Aaron067 This movie was specifically chosen as the first MCU film because it had a more realistic setting for general audiences. The movies have also been consistent with implying Tony's suits after this one all have some sort of way to dampen inertia.
Also, people are working on this kind of tech. One of the biggest hurdles is actually power sources.
Also, Tony survived the attack by sheer luck. Same with meeting one of the few people on Earth who could recognize and stabilize his shrapnel injuries. Or maybe destiny.
Frankly, I'm just assuming he wasn't as high up as he seemed.
Apparently the novelization says Tony ended up with "blunt trauma injuries to 90% of his body".
As soon as captain marvel was released pre endgame, after watching that movie, you knew there was a crack in the foundation. Marvel movies have gone so far away from the ingredients that have made them so successful before endgame. Thankfully Spider-Man no way home was for me the last best marvel movie. They continue to go down following politics following culture whereas when they started with Iron Man in 2008, they were just good movies to get away from all the 💩💩💩💩💩. Congratulations marvel the franchise is now destroyed
