Damn, did not expect this quality of music in a game about brewing potions, really impressive work! These themes bring so much life into the games and I can't thank you enough for the experience. I really hope you release the entire ost from the game.
Thank you! A lot of the credit goes to Jati, the lead dev, for caring so much about the music in the first place. And the soundtrack is actually out. You can stream it or buy it from my bandcamp page if you want to support me directly.
@@FilmCompos3r honestly, i will always support indie games, as long as they value their craftmanship and dont let profits get in their way. You get what i am saying?
Just bought the game. And this soundtrack hit me immediately! A wonderful creation! Thank you so much for having made the game and this wonderful piece of music!
The music of this game is just outstanding. The themes and styles are really strong! - Especially this one has such a strong identity that I can picture an entire theme park section themed around Muktuk's heritage just by listening to the soundtrack alone.
it's fucking incredible that this is a score for a barely known indie game. my jaw was on the floor every time i heard a new piece while playing. you've got some serious talent that i would honestly expect to hear in the most popular movies in the world. like, this composition is on hans zimmer's level (for my humble uninformed ears, but still). and i've been listening to xid's theme on loop all day today. i haven't even finished the game yet!
@@FilmCompos3r and thank you for composing, your music means a lot to me :) edit: also, you're making me really want to pick up an electric guitar in the future.
Thanks!! Honestly there are so many different kinds and genres of music in the world that I believe anyone can find one they fit in with if they look hard enough. But if you don’t have the time for that, music is ultimately meant to be listened to, which almost anyone can do 😀

@@FilmCompos3r AND YOU DID!!! Muktuk sounds like the big burly yet lovable man he is, Quinn is elegant with a somberness to her, Saffron sounds as tranquil as a forest, Baptiste sounds GRAND yet Niave, all the music was and IS amazing!!!
@@MagusDouken For me the conch shell was an obvious choice, since Muktuk's a sea dwelling walrus and all! Overall I wanted his music to sound "old," since he's often drawing on his ancestors and his spirituality, and I think the marxophone helps with that.
This song made this character Iconic.
I cannot imagine him without this great song
There is literally NO reason for the music in this game to go THIS HARD but i love it

I bought the game a week ago, an is really funny, i like the gestion and mechanics. And LOVE the music.
probably my favourite theme of the game! What a banger, and it suits the character soooo well!
It’s my favorite too!

That's exactly a comment this dear Muktuk can say.

That was part of my goal, for each character to feel like an entire score could be written around their theme!
Love this game music, so pleasantly suprised to see the orchestra play it too
I'm really enjoying all the color instruments, not that the orchestra isn't just absolutely smashing. Plus, this loops really really nicely.
yah orchestra is an amazing foundation, but you need other instruments to give it personality. (Unless you're John Williams, of course)
Can’t wait to hear this again in the remake for ps5.
Not just the composition quality, but the mix and level of performance in this score is jaw-dropping!

THE GREAT WORK IS COMPLETE!!! ALL OF RAFTA *TREMBLES* IN THE QUAKE OF THIS *MASTERPIECE*!!
I see you’ve met Muktuk.
Songs like this really make me wish I was good at music.

Shop sims do not need to go this hard /grateful. And it's coming to Switch yipeeeeeeee❤❤
Muktuk gang. Will rise again.
One of my favorite soundtrack for the ambiance. Cat pirates for the humor.
Thank you! The music definitely needed to serve multiple functions. Thank you for noticing that!

You already know where I'm going early morning to shop first ❤️
This reminds me soo much of the WoW Kul tiras themes and i LOVE IT!!!
One of my favourite themes in the game. It reminds me of Braum's theme from league of legends
Aaaahhh! I have so much love for this character and his theme!
Thank you! I’m really proud of it.
@@FilmCompos3r As you should be. It's a beautiful song for a beautiful character.
what a rousing tune! really got me in the mood to buy cabinets
Ah! The muscle bound artist! Can't help but love him
My favorite piece of music from the game, on par with "Braum" from LoL and that shit slaps.
If only the non existing end game slapped as much as mutuk theme
Love the character, and love his theme song. Muktuk always pumps me up.
Can't wait for salt & pepper theme
Loved the game and the ost felt so good for each character !
Muktuk is the embodiment of "chad."
This sounds like we're about to fight a Kraken AND I LOVE IT.
That’s what I loved about this game - for each character I could really go all in musically.

Already my favorite track in the game
i love this theme
This sounds a lot like Braum's Theme, which is... appropriate.
Good ears. Was one of our influences for Muktuk’s instrumental palate.
But I think I go a little harder, if I may say so myself 😊
Will the Soundtrack be available on vinyl? I would defintely preorder, but dont know if i should get my hopes up.
I’d love to but it kind of depends on how well we do! But I’ve already brought it up 🙏
Купил игру вчера и втретив этого чела я думал он крут, пока не вслушался в саундтрек. Вот это гораздо круче Муктука - музыка Муктука!
Are they chanting "Muk tuk"?
"They" (as in "I") are (am)! Good ears ;)
What is that instrument on the left side around the 45 second mark?
It’s an antique thing called a “Marxophone.” Basically just a hammered dulcimer with built in hammers!
Interesting. Could there be any reasoning to why you used it (along with the shell horn at the start or any other more unique instrument)?
@@MagusDouken For me the conch shell was an obvious choice, since Muktuk's a sea dwelling walrus and all! Overall I wanted his music to sound "old," since he's often drawing on his ancestors and his spirituality, and I think the marxophone helps with that.
Is that also why his one of the few (if only) that has vocal chantings to them?
@@MagusDouken Nah I just thought the vocals sounded bad ass, and there also aren't a lot of opportunities for me to show off my bass vocal range!
