Denny Farrell! Man, I must be old. First I felt bad for him because I thought that crap bridge at 181st St was what was named after him, but then I saw it was the nice one at the end of the detour.
I've walked this path all the way down to south ferry. It is very quiet a points, but the Forts and other old style buildings were cool.
