I live in California and have ridden across the country 3 times, but my 1-day ride on Memorial Day a few years ago from Cresskill, NJ to Battery Park and back via the Hudson Greenway stands out in my mind as one of the most memorable rides of my life. It was Memorial Day, Fleet Week, with the masses of humanity on the Greenway making for a feast for the senses.
I actually have some old footage of the East river greenway that I never put up. I'll put it up tomorrow morning. However, it only goes from Pike Slip to 37th Street where the greenway ends.
I just started riding bikes for the first time and I started taking this bike path everyday. Instant love! I might make a video as well. Thanks for posting.
Literally rode from bushwick Brooklyn to 181st on the Hudson River because of this video it was awesome. Hopefully in the future I’ll go further and better prepared with more water, snacks and phone battery 🤣
Love this ride I do it very often, just wish they would complete the trail on the east river side to do a complete seamless loop around the island. It’s been a great year for riding be safe!!!!!
I remember the first time I encountered those hills around the 24 minute mark lol Not enjoyable to say the least! The ride back going downhill is a lot of fun though lol
Thanks for all you excellent work, ActionKid....I love the videos. Would it be possible to insert some text(or voice), now and then, telling where you are on your walk/ride so that I can check the map to see actually your geographical position in the video? Thanks.
Thanks, I’m not sure if I placed timestamps for this video in the description or not, but that’s the main way I try to guide viewers to my location throughout the video.
Hello ActionKid, I'm a huge fan of your videos! They're great for those whose'd like to visit NYC some day, but may you go just a bit slower... because you bike so fast that sometimes is difficult to admire the beauty of the places you go. I'm just saying... But thanking for sharing!! And good work! Blessings!

As a native new Yorker I appreciate videos like these. Just the sounds of the city and a nice relaxing ride. Good stuff
same here
Thanks for not adding music..I like the actual sounds of the city😆👍👏 my fav park!!!
Informative video for people that haven't explored the north part of the Hudson Greenway. Kudos!
Thanks! It's the reason why I put up long, unedited videos like these, so people who are curious can see how the route looks like before they ride.
How about the Eastside greenway all the way from downtown Manhattan to the bridge that takes you to Randalls Island? Can you make a video?

What an awesome bike path! NY is a constant surprise. Another activity to add to my NY bucket list!

I agree. That loop would also make it a lot easier for people to bike to work from the boroughs as well.
I have run a small portion of the greenway and I am very glad to see it today. Thanks.
You’re welcome!
Brilliant , I watched this doing a spin ride in the gym😊👏🏽.

With this bike path, now you don't really need subways any more.
I've done almost the entire greenway a few times. From the red lighthouse on 181st all the way to Chambers Street and then back. Took me about 2 hrs.
I've never been here... Finna ride this route this week
can someone tell me how to ride from alabany to nyc queens? much appreciate. On a bike trail.
Thanks for that nice vídeo !
A little commentary would be good. Pointing out sights and landmarks along the way 👍🙂
How much does your kryptonite U-Lock weigh?
✔️. Do u know the area/street at 17min mark??
The nicest place to cycle in the city. What is the place with blue umbrellas overlooking the greenway in the blocks just north of 72nd St?
Not sure. I think it's the Boat Basin Cafe?
Beautiful ride
Thanks! I have another Hudson River Greenway video coming out very soon!
Used to be a working water fountain by the lighthouse is it still there???
I’m not sure
Do they allow ebikes?
actionkid105 this is my usual route after work or on my off days lol. Very good miles.
Nice!

Yes
Great video again. Its nearby Yonkers?
Yes, Yonkers borders the NYC borough of the Bronx. It's a city in Westchester County.

The park benches are way too close to the pavement.
Belo passeio !
Life was better without COVID-19
It’s been great for the bike industry I cannot find a single bike in my size in stock lol
Of course that doesn't apply to the videos in which you are narrating your journey...
RUclips no like speed video 😕
Stop making excuses and ride up that hill!
