MERCHANT OF VENICE || ACT 2 SCENE 2|| LINE BY LINE EXPLANATION WITH PICTURES|| ICSE CLASS 9 AND 10 || reference to context
William Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice is a tragic-comedy where we find a dispute between a Christian and a Jew. A love story brews between Bassanio and Portia. Many interesting situations take place and to enjoy it continue to follow my channel.
In this scene we find Launcelot, the servant of Shylock, in dilemma whether he should leave working for Shylock or stay loyal. We also see the funny conversation between he and his father old Gobbo who can't recognize his own son. Launcelot is finally happy to serve Bassanio.
