    1:48 no need to cut, just hold the shaft from the bottom and turn the blade driver clockwise

    As soon as you pulled out the grinder, I thought, this is MY kind of video... you're the man.
    I was hoping your wife was going to show up from shopping and drop all her stuff and start yelling at you for taking her blender apart.
    I love the disassembly methodology, there's a point at which you cut the wires, and we're all thinking, oh yeah, he's just going to solder that back together after he's done fixing it. Yeah, I'd do that to save time, too.
    Then I'm like, oh yeah, he'll just goop the one half back together with some 2 part epoxy, no problem.
    Then, I'm like hey maybe he's going to just put it all back together with a hammer. I do that a lot too!
    Then, the scene outside, I thought yeah, who needs that B.S. loud blender anyways? Keep the motor and magnets for science use later on!
    Can you create an alternate ending, like in Clerks? I wasn't even supposed to be here today!
    Good stuff. Glad I didn't take it all apart (yet). Shall I make the sequel?

    Hey, I am trying to fix the base of my Ninja food processor. I want to sub plastic engines (broken) by metal engines. Do you know how to take them out?

    Thank you. After finding that my Kitchen Aid is barely user-serviceable, I'm looking for a blender that is. Oster claims their blenders aren't, but they seem very simple and replacement parts are affordable.

    Hello, I would like to exchange the power cable. How is it attached to the machine? Is it plugged ?

    I need to see how you removed the suction base. Mine detached from the body, and I'm not sure where the washers go.

    Hello what type of screwdriver tip did you use to open it?

    • @vonnybob
      @vonnybob 2 года назад

      I think it was just a long phillips screwdriver bit.

    Did you think about just replying the base?
    I just don’t know if I will find a base that fits

    Did you find a replacement part? Why did you destroyed it?

    • @flickeringcandle
      @flickeringcandle Год назад +1

      He destroyed it because the title is how to take it apart not how to fix it. I have a brother like this, they just love to see what’s inside electronics.

    I know this vid is old , but when you have 3 gears running off 1 shaft, its called a planetary, This is common in transmissions. Plastic gears in kitchen equipment started in 70's with folks like kitchenaid. its a safety thing for binding like if some big dummy puts their hand or utensil in bowl of a mixer. (while its running) "guilty"
    If ninja used metal gears, you would pay $600 or more for your $150 blender. Not defending them, just saying.
    It cost you $10-$20 a year for that blender or mixer if it lasted 8 years.
    My IQ 1500 sat on counter 3 yrs unused and maybe had 10 minutes run time, and the motor growls, won't start, so you are lucky.
    I still have stickers and labels on some containers and this thing was like $200,.
    But I'm getting or buying spare bases cause its a beast when it runs.

    It is made of plastic to reduce noise, friction, weight and, of course - quality, so after awhile you'll need to buy a new one. Pretty disappointed with Ninja - never again will buy their blenders! Thank you for disassembly lesson!

    Mine doesn’t even turn on.😩

    • @yuriseluchenko4483
      @yuriseluchenko4483 3 года назад

      Try to turn it on while pushing safety point on top of the handle with sharp pointed object (while the lid is off). If it will go on, then the safety pin on the lid handle shall be longer (worn out)

    The plastic is for planned obsolescence and all brands do this.
