Great video guys! Would recommend to anyone, if you're travelling in winter, to pick a hotel close to an underground entrance near Sapporo, Odori or Susukino station. There's a huge underground tunnel which makes getting around easier when it's snowing. Otherwise you're going to be humbled when dragging your luggage through snow.

So helpful. Normally, we escape Australia and head back to Malaysia to see family and surrounds for summer holidays. But this year we're planning a 3 week Japan winter itinerary ❄️❄️. Planning to spend 4-5 days in Hokkaido.

Special ones with grip - i bought mine In Tokyo few days before our trip to sapporo which was early February and it was slippery still - so better be prepared if you are going end of jan / early feb
