Wow dude, 4.5 lbs!! When I was in Pop Warner and early in high school we still had the AIR brand helmets that weighed about 12 lbs. Then we transitioned to the Riddell helmets which were only like 9 lbs.
It's amazing how much progress has been made in the world of football equipment since 2002. Must be nice playing football with light, comfortable gear

I know my days of wearing a helmet are long gone, but I still do not like that style of chin strap. I wish these newer helmets would give the option for the older style straps. But it's like I said my playing days ended years ago, so I don't have to worry about it.

Decals may be difficult to apply to this model. Lots of vent holes.

@@bradyncaldwell4406 no mics don’t cover the whole ear hole, they are kinda tucked to the side to prevent a coverup of the ear hole

Not really. Unfortunately the whole industry is having a very difficult time keeping up. We’re excited to get our hands on them whenever they come in
See I like theses kind and others kinds that’s in all levels of football. Then the ones that got a buckle that attach the face mask together
How long will Vicis pre order take?
Hard to say. Orders are trickling in but they are having supply issue like most helmet manufacturers are. I'd say 4-6 weeks though

I see more kids with speedflex and f7 in youth then high schools lol
most likely because high schools supply somewhat decent helmets but youth leagues don’t, in my high school some got the speed and some got the speed icon but the best players got speedflex’s
