they don't know new York legends they probably live in the sticks and dont understand what hip hop and rap was who where it started they are just country pumpkins
Agree
Agreed!! b ass kids
unfortunately the message given by grandmaster flash did not reach everyone. see these two there.
This was one of the greatest artistic expressions of social injustice of all time. Those guys were getting a REAL message across about REAL issues...none of this crap about bitches and hoes.
This is not just a song about the ghetto. Hip-hop originally was all about the party, and this was the first song to bring such a message and a heavy one at that and it became a hit. That's why this song is so important and legendary. It influenced many that came afterwards. It's not just one of many, it's the first.
Masterpiece.
And zero knowledge
Wow!! I sure hope the rappers these guys look up to in the game respect this. The roots of hip-hop.
It was 1982 so many rappers use that beat from ice cube to nas
Are you talking about the Nas song "the message"? Cause it doesn't use this beat.
9:15 OF TWO GUYS HIGH ON VALIUM DISRESPECTING A CLASSIC!
I know, how pathetic. Any wonder why their pitiful channel is *never going to significantly grow?* 🤣 LOL
they are just 2 clowns
These cats are the forerunners for groups like Public Enemy, X-Clan, Brand Nubians, Nas, etc.
The conscious rap.
You can tell these bozos dont know about P.E and Nas like that
Greatest hip hop song ever. Spike Lee directed the video as a college student.
deadass? makes sense why it sound like dude said radio rahiem at the end
@@jaycash5159 lol. This was 7 years before Do the Right Thing
Best rapping eve! The story telling is what hits you the most and is still happening today.
this rap are better than the rap they have today all about money nothing positive
These 2 high af🤣🤣🤣🤣 Respect
Respect for being really high? While *disrespecting* rap artists that possess more talent in their small toe than these two burnouts combined? Guess it does not take much to impress you, huh?
This was 81 what u expected, listen to the music
The technology wasn't as good as it ia now. That was one of if not the first rap video of it's time
That was 40 years ago. Hard to believe. I was there, time goes by FAST.
Then it was rap,now it's rap with a capital C.What a pair of muppets.
BREAKING NEWS: On November 30, 2021, TBSN: The Black Sportz network will present Lifetime Achievement Awards to Grand Master Flash and The Furious Five as part of Cold Chillin' Weekend. The ceremony will take place in New York City. TBSN is the intersection of sports and hip hop and will be broadcasting LIVE action games on TV and radio and streaming in 2022.
Obviously you didn't really see the bigger picture of the song The '80s was a whole different era of music actually talking about something and bringing topics to the forefront unlike some of these artists these days we talk about the same old s*++ all the time
Y'all lost the concept of this video and song young brotherz watch it closely it's speaking about the climate of the city during that time period this is after Frank Lucas, Nicky Barnes and a few others dragged the city down in the heroin epidemic of the 70's to understand this video you have to know your history! Also remember this is 13 years after blacks got their civil rights in 1968 so imagine how hard it was for a ninja back then hasn't much change today..
Best Masseuse ever 😁
The only thing that cought their attention is when Flash said "fag." This is where we are at today. The message passed these dudes up.
The song is from PAIN lots of people relate to, real life shit. Powerful and timeless.
Definitely timeless
That’s the Golden era Of HipHop Son. THAT HIT WAY BETTER THAN A FKN “Lil Yoti” sh*t!!!
Say that again sir, I don't think these clowns heard the message right
AMEN to that.
Did he say the massage....lol....RIF...
That’s cuz they from the suburbs! And ain’t know how it is for real!
you guys look smacked out
Did that nigga just say mAssage?
Who are these muppets . Wannabee Gangsters .
The blatant disrespect shown here is horrible. It's already been stated so I won't go into it any further. "I get it though, it's a deep ass song about the ghetto." No you don't get it. I saw absolutely no emotion through that entire reaction, not even a spark of understanding or enlightenment. I agree with other replies, y'all look shermed out or something. Last note, tell your boy not to dig in his ear halfway through the next reaction, nasty!!
Unfortunately this is most young young folks no respect for nothing including themselves.
probably county people living in the sticks never where exposed to anything this song is saying and dont get it and dont understand it just two clowns
The guy on the left only reacted when the word "fag" was said. They heard nothing else.
Y'all to dam high.
It was made in 1982!! What did you expect, 2020 sounds. It was near the beginning of hiphop
They look like sherm heads and I'm from Long Island New York born and raised in Brooklyn is cats don't know what it is they have no idea so I'm leave it at that
These guys are too young. Thry are 90s babies.
Maybe 2000s babies (16 years old? 17?).
Im 20 and i recognize real hip hop
Im 16 and love this song
Straightoutofchiraq whoa respect us 90’s kids cause we appreciate 80’s music also. These new age 00’s baby’s don’t appreciate these classics
They both looked like they didn't wanna be there. Especially the one with the NIKE hat
Not sure why they even do reaction video. Slowness comes out
React to Common - Resurrection. That's a Chi Town classic. People started taking Chicago Hiphop serious when Common was dropping lyrics like he was on that joint.
These dudes don't know shyt about music. They in the rock and roll hall of fame. Rolling stone magazine said this was the greatest rap song ever
Old boy in the red shirt was faded. Head nod was pretty obvious.
You know what would have been a good ending? Those blokes could have spent some of thier spare time clearing that vacant lot into a park.
Did he say message?
You see that I love Hop 2021
that fact you yoyos are disrespecting this track shows that you guys really don't know anything about the real roots of hiphop---this track was made in 1982, one of the first big hiphop hits ever---the video quality isn't the greatest, but it was made in 1982---show some respect to the pioneers and music of early of hip-hop---disrespecting this track is like disrespecting your ancestors
don't make fun of your elders
Sad young people don’t appreciate the struggles their parents and family went through. So superficial and ungrateful
Check out their song called beat street.
24 hours to live
React to "Don't nobody want none" Tech N9ne. Won't Regret!
Do onyx ft dmx-shut them down
Total disrespect to rap pioneers - Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five are the originators of what you listen to currently! Such fools to disregard the evolution of hip-hop & rap. Sad.
Nothing cool about being on the nod. Toss that shit brother.
The 119 number must be the thumbs down 👎🏾, I did too! 👎🏾👎🏾, these guys are no Twinsthenewtrend😄😄😄
απο οτι καταλαβα σε εσας αναφέρετε το μυνημα..................................................................
React to Jackie chan movie: Meals on wheels fight scene. 1984.
Looks like these guys didn't get the message. In a sad way things haven't changed that much in the black community since this song was released. They still dont get it 😞
Delete this video. The dude in the hat didn’t even car lmfao
You didn't mentioned anything about their different poses which I thought was funny at the time. They were street models.
