- In this video shop with me at this huge antique mall in Deland, Florida called Marketplace at Rivertown. This place has so much to see and it was hard to fit into one video. They have a bit of everything to fit any decor or style or collection. There inventory turns over often and we see alot of new since our trip last year. We see tiffany style lamps, porcelain, glass, furniture, farmhouse, clothes and so much more. This is such an amazing shop. So many pretties and memories. I love the Tiffany style lamps. I have a few. A couple of table top and a beautiful floor lamp with the amber beads hanging down. You really should get one. It would be stunning in your gorgeous living room. Or, a small one for Angela's night stand. Would be perfect with all her beautiful things. We have an old Sears store that is now a shop like that and is always fun to go through. The dresser surprised me because it is very similar to mine. Same rounded front but mine has three large drawers and round gold deco knobs.it's a 30's piece. I'm anxious to see what you brought home. 🐦👍💕

Wow, that is quite a store! Truly something for everyone. No, I don’t see many pink flamingos 🦩🦩🦩 here in Nebraska. 😂😂😂. That would be a fun store to browse in for a few hours. Hubby and I did go to a flea market on the 4th. A neighboring town has one every year. We found a yard stake that looks like an ear of corn 🌽. It’s always fun to look, for sure. Have a blessed weekend and find some time to relax. Still praying for rain ☔️ here.

I have two Tiffany lamps in a bedroom. Everyone who has visited and stayed in that room adores them. I do know what you mean. People love looking at them, but not buying them I guess.
They are beautiful in the right spot I think ! ...we are still needing one that just says ....you have to take me home ! Lol !

Thanks so much! I had a lot of fun eventhough I wasn't there. Some of the items I remember from my childhood and I saw a light blue glass wine decanter and I think two or three wine glasses that looked a lot like a set my mother had. Jeff I have four of the Tiffany lamps and I love them all. One is a floor lamp. I enjoy watching you go through all the beautiful things in the antique shops. I would love to have a cut to clear punch bowl set.

I have a question…. Do you find that a lot of the shops don’t carry much in the way of antique china pieces these days? I know it’s not the big collectible it used to be, but more and more I see less and less of it. Lots of MCM and country things. You seem to do well at the big flea market you go to and some estate sales. Just an observation , thanks for taking us along!
Hello Judy ...the biggest thing that has killed that is the online sales.. EBay... Etsy...its easier cheaper faster and we even went for it as you know .....you have to go to A Designated Antique shop...or big Market today to make out ...and you generally will have to pay more ! ......also if anything good hits the thrift store ....someone buys it up in the same day ! 🌷🐝
@@MyTakeOnHomeGarden besides the online sales, I think the younger collectors are more into MCM than the china pieces we like. I find most shops here in MA are full of MCM. The consignment shops are different, though. They seem to be selling older pieces and it’s where I’ve found several of my chocolate pots. Thanks for your input!
