Hmm. The Red Wedding, is what put me off GoT (I kinda had a feeling Sean Bean would be killed pretty soon so that was sorta okay)! Pretty accurate descriptions from Sorabh Pant and Jaby, though.
I kind of agree with u Jaby. After all the famous actors died i kind of felt "do i really need to invest myself in all these unknown actors?" Although i must add Emilia Clarke is so good at acting without talking. She has slight nuances with emotion.
It was good writing till 4th season Cuz they had the novels to refer to. Once they were on their own from season 5 the writing fell apart and it took the more predictable cinema style of story telling. But it had very compelling characters and story lines that made us stick through all seasons. I just wish we had all the books written before season 4, the show would hve been more awesome than what it is now. I think GOT is the only show which had hundreds of characters and all of them were so unique that u can identify each of them. This is what we call best writing/characterization in a magnificient scale.
