In india birth rate is lowest among southern states because of highest literacy rate and birth rate is highest in bihar in north (poorest indian state econimically) which has least literacy rate in india, however in last decade bihar has improved its stats but it is still worst . I studied with muslims, christian, sikhs, parsis, jains, buddhists and hindus. But muslims were normal too. they didn't have gangs of people. Although the population "issue" is being talked about nowadays, but it needs to be noted that India has always had the higher amount of population since the start of civilization, as compared to the other parts of the world , and part of the reason was the fertile land here which made this place a hit among the people to settle. If you look at the terrain map of the world, India stands between the arid regions of west asia and the tropical regions of east asia , making it a golden place for people to come and reside here. Also, India (Ancient India) was largely open about sex and nudity ( even when Europe was largely conservative) before the subsequent invaders from other places and cultures who later imposed restrictions and created a different mindset.
I have been to different parts of my country and I saw a fact that South India has devoloped the most in terms of high literacy and low population, which seems to stagnate at one point which is definitely a very healthy and good sign for the country. People have very good lifestyle as compared to the North and West India. Eastern part other than few states are doing preety good in the literacy facet. But as time goes on, If North India govts doesn't change the way people think and increases substantial amount of literacy in the region, We will witness a huge gap of cultures and lifestyle in the same country.

Japan’s population is decreasing is because, Japanese are very reserved ppl by nature. Plus most of the economy revolves around Tokyo which is like super expensive place to live. So ppl would live either in the suburbs or in neighbouring towns and cities and would travel every day to Tokyo for work. That makes the life of an average Japanese way more busy, hectic and tiring. So they seem to be more disinterested in having and making families with tiring life and expensive lifestyle. Life in Japan is so fast that even 5 mins of delay can disturb their entire day. Development in India is not equally distributed. Most Christians were affluent and educated as India gained independence and have remained so coz of the transfer of Christian institutions and power. Upper caste Hindus developed more than Muslims and lower class Hindus coz majority of power went to upper caste Hindus atthe time if independence and it has remained so. Enforcemenet and blaming religions and communities is never going to help. It will create more panic and stupidity in the country.

And trust me their obsession with the boy child is so deep rooted in mentality it's almost impossible to counsel them about family planning. This is in a city, imagine the situation in rural areas. So yes, Sex ed is important more than ever.

Yes, I had sex ed in school. It was back in the year 2013-14 (when I was in class 9-10). Can't speak for others but atleast my science teacher taught us everything necessary from contraceptives to STDs. Well, we don't talk about sex at home so that was the first time I actually learnt how women get pregnant and how it can be prevented.

When it's come to India the atmosphere here is very prosperous. There is great amount of rain in most of the parts, so well agricultural land in 90% of the country. So, it creates making money in an easy way kind of thing. So people keep repeating it. Same is the case for Pakistan and Bangladesh. That's why because of the prosperity of this region we have faced lots of attacks by the foreigners.
