Nice review! I especially related with the mention of the Strada DL3 which I used to own. When choosing a new bike rack a few years ago I went with the velospace. The easy fold is really nice, but I could see a number of configurations that would not work with rear suspension bikes, due to the narrow vertical mount for the locking arms. One could also argue that the velospace can take the cargo bag extension, which is true, but for the price Thule charges for this acessory, you can buy a standalone box from another brand...
Great comment about the cargo bag - I didn't think of that! This was an early video for me, and I cringe at the sound quality now. Thanks for watching! Marc
Don't buy it for Citroen Berlingo or any other car that has a low and tall boot flap because you won't be able to open the boot with this rack tilted out all the way which is a real pain my friend owning Berlingo found out after purchasing one - now his dog can't get out for a wee without detaching the whole rack! Look at Velospace XT instead that's designed for such vehicles and has an option to tilt out further thus allowing to open the boot. It's more versatile too and can be 2-3 or 3-4 bikes + cargo with one bike. Also, I have an EasyFold for 2 bikes and after being used on about 10-15 trips max certain parts start to disintegrate a bit although it's more cosmetic and is still safe and usable.
@@CampingSecretsUK Yep, watched it before this one and already bought the VeloSpace XT3 + cargo box which am unpacking right now :) However, Thule and sellers should make it more clear to buyers about this rack's limitations... ruclips.net/video/JTxJcT6K9zo/видео.html
Thanks for the review. Still trying to decided if Easyfold XT or Velospace XT. Do you think the Easyfold will tilt back ok with Hyundai I35? Oh and the Easyfold has a loading ramp hiden inside too :)
Thanks for the review. Do you have a link to the towball used here? I have a 2" hitch receiver, and I am still looking for a towball which is compatible with the EasyFold.
EU has a standard towball size and this fits onto it, in the EU, that it. If you're in the UK, I don't know if the same applies anymore. You can thank Nigel Farage lol

Great Review Mark. Does the easy fold xt allow attachment for the 4th Bike and will it fit a tesla?
Excellent question, I was wondering if you can add a 4th bike as well

I'm sorry but I cannot answer that. I would recommend buying and then returning if it does not work. This is what I did.
Does anyone know of a tow bar bike rack that swings out of the way? Ford Transit Tourneo.

Sorry I can't help on this

You need a hitch extension so there is enough clearance to open the hatch door.
Good call! I didn't know you could get those!
Where do you get those?
Bro should have just let the blackbird do the commentary.
Haha yeah that was the early days when I knew even less about recording than I do now. Nice blackbird though! 😂
Skręcam te gówno przez 8h, nie polecam
