Three things I want to see in next Andromeda: 1. Quarians without masks, but for real, not on the picture, 2. How a volus looks like. Maybe on some planet that is so suitable for them they can put off their suits 3. Krogan eggs and alien's children, but not looking like smaller versions of parents
in case people are confused Vorn the botanist from Drack's loyalty mission had a crush on Kesh; Drack's granddaughter so.... Vorn and Kesh are together not Kesh and Drack
i really do appreciate the krogan who know the folly of their ancestors and work to see that a repeat of the krogan rebellions never happens. Wrex and Bakara (the female krogan in ME3) are some of my favorite characters because of that.
the genophage effected hormones during certain stages. it effects both male and females. mordin and his team found that the krogan were building resistance against the genophage and then altered the mutagen again. the team Kesh brought had undergone some type of treatment during they're cryro sleep so that they had a higher mortality rate.
For some reason (Wrex, Grunt, Drack, Vorn, Kesh...) I freaking love the krogan so much. I'm always super happy to help them out and whenever they move forward like this.
Yeah it was. A lot of the dialog sounded like live births but then they'd throw in the occasional reptilian word like "clutch." The fandom was torn up about it for years. I always theorized they were egg layers because it would be impossible to give birth to over a thousand young otherwise.
Wow, guess I assumed by the language used and their breeding speed that they were definitely egg layers. It was the only thing that made sense to me. Glad we have it confirmed, then!
It's just a shame we never get to see them. I hope in the next Andromeda game, assuming they make one (and I REALLY hope they do. Loved Andromeda) we actually get to see Krogan children and babies..
It has so much potential to go forward. Knowing that 0,1% fetus survival rate only equalized krogan population growth rate to same as with other sentients of Milky Way (I still think asari could challenge them in that if they really tried) Clan Nakmor's 4% fetus survival means there are LOTS of krogan children. Most likely so much that they must start practicing birth control and all that.
+Anonymous Invader I'd like to see them too, hopefully they're as cute as the krogan babies from the end of ME3 - dontfeedthegamers.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/Mass-Effect-3-New-Ending-Krogan-700x367.jpg
I'm not sure about that, I saw a video where you could ask Vorn about the eggs and afterwards he asked you to bring the flower to Kesh. You do have to save Drack's scouts on the salarian ship.
well if you talk to kesh in the beginning you find out that her specific clan was building immunity to the genophage, so during the trip to Andromeda the Krogan underwent genetic enhancement from .0001% to 5%. For Krogan that is a lot. However I don't know who the dad is but going off of digging around I would think something like artificial insemination.
You should get a Email from Drack after beating the Archon, i believe it is also tied to his Storyline with Ryder so you have to complete it to 100% too
Drax: " my grandbabes 🍼 better be doing well in that device u got there human 😠 " Doc: " don't you worry a bit 😅 they are *completely* safe 😊 " Drax: " ..if they suffocate in there- I'm gonna rip a airlock on one of your current or future human ship vessels... You should get a Email from Drack after beating the Archon, i believe it is also tied to his Storyline with Ryder so you have to complete it to 100% too
Oh god! I played this game lots of times but I never come across these Krogan Babies! Should I always visit every location once a mission finishes up? For the extra dialogues? But I got 100% viability twice and haven't seen these. God! I need to play again! XD
You should get a Email from Drack after beating the Archon, i believe it is also tied to his Storyline with Ryder so you have to complete it to 100% too
I hope the writers have enough smarts to just use this one game (main game content) as a temporary lighter tone before it all goes to absolute shit and they don't even have the Reapers to blame for it. Time to put on your big boy pants now Milky Way! I mean really - full krogan births? AHH!
Except the pathfinder or crew. I would love for either Ryder or one of your partners to fall pregnant but I know it probably won't ever happen for gameplay/story reasons. Just imagine Cora/Sara/Peebee in the middle of a meeting then all of a sudden puking guts out in the corner rofl then going to see Lexi and finding out they're pregnant. I know the crew have chemical blockers in their system to stop them falling pregnant but would still be funny IMO.
Malcolm Swoboda, if Bioware decides to continue the Andromeda series they better get some better writers (or a better team all together). After Andromeda I hope they'll learn from their mistakes.
Uh, it does make sense though, you chose to save a salarian (the species that developed the disease that was slowly destroying the krogan) over several krogan, Kesh gets mad at you if you choose the salarian pathfinder as the ambassador, she's angry about the krogan scouts, it's possible that they were her friends as well as being Drack's scouts. And it's not a glitch, it's a story-based consequence to your actions, getting stuck in walls and members of your squad walking like they were in a ballet is a glitch, this isn't
Apperently. over the 600 years they spent in Stasis, they had already planned on taking advantage of their own natural immunities to slowly fight back against it. Kesh even talks about it and says that they've gone from a 1 in 1000 to 4 in 100. which is a MASSIVE improvement.
and to expand on what colin said, remember mass effect 2? why mordin worked on the genophage modification project? it's because the krogan were becoming immune naturally. i highly doubt the modified genophage managed to find its way to every krogan clan in the galaxy, especially kesh since she would've been working for the initiative at that time.
jimai808 is corret. In Me2 and 2 The Krogan femals are divided in fertily and non-fertily. The 0,1% Fertility Rate created by Genophage and Mordins Modification is an average stat. The non fertily are the unlucky end of the statistic with even less then 0,1% practically zero. The "fertily" krogan femals are either lucky or missed Mordin Modification, resulting in 1-2% living babies. The Krogan in Andromeda are on Average 4%. Maning: The non fertily Krogan from clan Nakmor and Urdnot are still 0,1% whil Kesh and a handfull of Krogan femals are lucky with 4-8%. With 100 egg per month: Kesh made 92-96 stillborn and 4-8 living babies.
Oh gosh. Why this game is so hard for understanding. I don't understand this again. If Andromeda is between second and third game, how it is possible to cure genofage? Mordin haven't discovered the cure yet. Ok, we need 600 years to reach Andromeda. Even if they cure genofage it isn't possible to get to Andromeda with Ryder at one time
Yeah, it was my attempt at humor. It was a reference to ME3 when Wrex said that one of the Krogan babies will be named Mordin. I was hoping Bioware still remembered the reference and just throw it in there for the lulz.
aww little krogan i bet theyre gonna be like little angry sea turtles about a dozen of em all headbutting eachother XD
Akaryusan yes!!
With Drak teaching them there will be a lot of headbutting.

the genophage effected hormones during certain stages. it effects both male and females. mordin and his team found that the krogan were building resistance against the genophage and then altered the mutagen again.
the team Kesh brought had undergone some type of treatment during they're cryro sleep so that they had a higher mortality rate.
You mean, lesser mortality and higher survivability rate, because 4% hatchling surviving is far greater than 0.1%.

assuming Krogan lay 80-100 eggs each MONTH: Kesh got at least 3-4 babies.
For some reason (Wrex, Grunt, Drack, Vorn, Kesh...) I freaking love the krogan so much. I'm always super happy to help them out and whenever they move forward like this.

So fluffy, what did Lexi say about your personality by the end of the game? I'd imagine you'd have gotten the sarcastic psyche profile.
Still trying to figure out if this is decision based or has to trigger after missions post game. Any insight, Fluffy?
It's both, you have to save Drack's scouts on the salarian ship and it only triggers post-game
Grandpa Drack is the best.
