Parents are guide posts, hoping to direct their children in the right direction. If they make mistakes, they make mistakes.....just love them and encourage them to better themselves and the rest just falls into place.....and no matter what, allow them to become their own person. The Rite after all is about either being a warrior, or being able to rally those who think that that krogan has something to add. Given how awkward Vorn was, that tells me /someone/ saw something in him enough to be his krantt. I honestly wonder who that was... feels like a great story to explore.
Krogan love is just so special and adorable. This was ofc great, but there is a conversation you can overhear in the second game that just hits so freaking hard. There are 2 krogan dudes talking about Krogan stuff. But after running back and forth to get more of their conversation, one of the dudes starts talking about a krogan kid he saw that "has his eyes". And it just gets more and more emotional I feel, because he starts talking about getting to know the kid, and as I recall he even talked about requesting to get a father-son/daugther relationship going, even though that was pretty much a no-go for them. We have this race that is 99% fighting minded, and then we have this guy who wants to be with their child. And btw, it's not even garanteed that it was his child, but he still wanted to become a father for the child.
The krogan characters are always the ones with the most emotionally-invested backstories. And damnit, I love it. I mean, who would expect the brutish, historically violent _krogan_ to be the most lovable?

It's a flower from the Krogan homeworld. It's probably murderous given it survived that Mad Max world. Hell, Vorn's plants are known to be dangerous to anyone but Krogans!

I can't hate this game. It has so many faults, and I get why people do. But it still has a lot of the positive points that the trilogy did, particularly in its characters. They're more condensed and that brings out the flaws that were hidden and mitigated better over a many-year story. But there are still these hidden gems. Vorn is one of them.
Tell that to Morda. I gave her the remnant drive core, outted a traitor among her people, took care of Spender who was the source of the Krogan problems on and with the Nexus, won the respect of Kesh, Drack, and other krogan in her colony, and made her ambassador and all she can do is growl angrily at me.

I think if there was a way to get an Angarian Flower, of all people Fluffy would find a way to place that bud on her character's head and never remove it regardless of the situation.

Pretty much. A lot of scientists, intellectuals and pacifists came to Andromeda because they felt they had no hope back in the Milky way. Most of the Krogan in Andromeda are a lot mellower and more milder tempered then their Milky way counterparts.
