This is the first time I have been able to actually make a cake straight from a recipe on the internet. It was so delicious. Everyone loved it. I only added vanilla to cut off the egg odor. Hello! I baked this cake this morning, the smell so good ;the orange zest and the juice have light flavor but testy . Tha changed I had made, I used different cake pan, and I added 1 teaspoon of baking soda and vinegar; avoiding the eggs odder . I’m eating now with my morning coffee ☕️.😌😌😌😌😌😌
Hi! I baked this cake today, just wanted to feedback that I baked for 50mins @170 and the cake was not fully cooked. Would recommend giving it 5mins more :)
@@mariadelourdesalvescarlos9617 i baked this cake today came out well baked for 40mins first 160 then brought down the temp to 140 for 20 mins coz started to brown slightly on the top and it was good happy i baked it perfect thanks

Thanks for classic. Just that here in Australia most of our ovens are fan forced and as such we shld bake at 160 deg for same time to get the right texture. Do u agree? Thanks again
You can decrease the temp 5oC and check whether the cake is baked using toothpick (clean tip after poking to the middle of the cake) The pound cake has thick texture thus it’s not difficult like castella or chiffon cake

If u put it more than 50 min it will begin dry.. The heat should be on 180°c
