For those starting out, don’t feel like you need to use your thumb for any of this. Just use the typical F bar-chord like you’re supposed to. Do whatever comes easier until you get stronger and more coordinated hands.
I usually play a simple version, vamping the Am and Em in the verse to give a more rhythmic effect. From now on, I'll try playing your studio version. Your chorus run down was great 👍 😀
