"Bloody" awesome! I have never even followed landspeed anything till Thrust (even nothing since). You have given this endeavor that Brit style and finesse that makes it all the more a pleasure to watch, even feel part of. Bloodhound is a beautifully designed machine. This Yank is rooting for ya!
Good on you Ian 😀
You know how F1 drivers make the reasonable priced car on top gear look slow......this guy will be able to change a CD in an F1 car while racing Lewis Hamilton.....It shows the discipline too when he said he was upset he got to 628mph he only wanted 605mph max....any of us would jump out going woop woop 628 yeah!!!
I bet if Jeremy Clarkson was driving this you would hear from the cockpit “POWER!!!!!!!!”
Yes, a power of 135 000 HP to be more precise.
I bet you couldn't get Richard Hammond in it.

Congrats again team! All the best for next year 👋😀🇬🇧
Sounds impressive,we do 320, in 3.2 seconds now.
Makes me proud to be British 🇬🇧
WHY HE DIDN'T STOP WHEN THE SQUIRREL WAS CROSSING?
Thrust SSC is 2x faster than this, Wow. 763 mph, while this goes 628. Surprised thrust SSC is still the fastest car yet.
Who else thought it was gonna lift off the ground at some point? 🤭
They would have to have really fucked up the aero for that to happen. Thankfully, computer simulations are good enough for that. Shame they weren't around for Donald Campbell when he was going for the water speed record.
I would damn hope it didn't at those speeds he'd die.
