The silly thing is, no, not really. I did my Wahoo vs Garmin research three years ago and chose Wahoo and thought I knew which unit I wanted next. In retrospect, I should have had another look at Garmin. I think they have some larger screen, colour devices I might have been happier with.
Hmm, when was it added? I've still got a manually made climbing screen. (Having a quick look, are you referring to Summit? That doesn't really compare, it looks like it just adds coloured gradients to data fields. Still no info on climbs in the ride etc)
@@teslar1 I'm not missing data fields, I'm missing climbs info. On a Garmin if you select a route it will then tell you how many climbs you have etc and automatically track and show you info on them. What I'm saying is, Wahoo just added some datafields, none of the automation and analysis of your route. For example, on Wahoo, if I select a route with a big climb in, when I get there, what will change on my head unit, if I press nothing? I think on a Garmin it knows it's a climb and will show me info on the climb. I think with Wahoo I have to find a segment in advance and star it, so I get info on how long it is and my projected time etc.
@@AAUK ok I don’t use Garmin. Happy to press a button on my di2 hoods to change to the climbing page. Provided I have a route selected and the incline data is present. It’s then my decision which fields I want to see. Though it does seem the Garmin still has more info it’s good to see even the bolt 1 is getting more info and maps.
Thank You for all of your videos that you did.
any issue you've find annoying? some reviews on reddit and other threads says that the gps took ages to locked in
Nope... covered it all in the video 👍
Hello! Can navigation also be used for walking? I would also like to use it for trekking as well as mountain biking
No, I don't think so. But, maybe if you plan it on something else, you can then use this to follow the route.
Did you ever consider a Garmin unit instead of a Wahoo?

Climb function has been added I assume you made this video before that update

What data field are you missing. I added the graph to the climbing page and configured all the data fields I need

when viewing from the saddle is the font good enough size ?
I do find some of the text a little small. You can zoom in and out though, to make some numbers bigger.
