Absolutely love the slow peaceful music you put in the background. It complements your amazing voice and makes the viewer comfortable to listen throughout the lengthy videos (in general). Keep up the good work brother!
I'm only careful not to bite on my stache to avoid damage, but other than that, i just ignore food and liquid getting all over it, i just rinse it up later when i'm done. It's just a part of it, made my peace with it. EDIT: whenever i can i eat hand food with fork and knife, it's just easier
As someone who uses a lot of hot sauce, I have recently gotten myself into some disastrous situations with white fabric while attempting this technique. Not for the faint of heart.
So much of the material on RUclips is oriented towards very simple mustache styling, or at best handlebars with a nose-width trim. I'm currently at a late stage-two, the longest I've ever had a desire to grow out my mustache. I went searching for videos, pleading that someone would tell me that it gets better after this. I can't describe the relief I feel knowing this stage is frustrating for everyone. 😂
Been growing my mustache from 14 years old now am 19 without trimming and in since last year it got much longer but still having weak endings, so just keep on growing until it grows more and more on its own
Hey Kaz, this is the kind of topic that I love to hear you discuss. My mustache is untrimmed except for the centre bit, trimmed just enough to allow me to eat & drink without it being too bothersome. I really like your Hungarian style of mustache. It is one of the best and it really suits you. I am lazy, so mine is left to cascade down (some of the hairs even reach the bottom of my chin, although you have to really look to see it). Trimming my stache at the barber is forbidden. I am the one who has to live with it and I like it the way it is.. Love your videos. Keep them rolling!
Whaaat?!? I'm a completely new to the bearded journey and this channel, AND the first to like and comment?!? Thanks for the content bro. Keep it up. I'm working my way through all your vids.
Hi Kaz. I haven't seen your video before now, and I want to go on record that your soothing, baritone voice combined with your easy to follow video was a pleasurable learning tool for me. I started (again) to grow my beard and mustache on Black Friday and everything is growing just fine so far.. I plan to do minimal trimming for at least the next 45 days or so, and I’ll be very interested and hopefully pleased to see the results. I’m thinking about a medium length beard and a chevron style mustache that goes a little over my upper lip. I’ve tried this before, and did not like the situation at all when I compromised my eating habits with sandwiches and drinks. Your video did a great job at telling me about the pitfalls I will go through just as you have done, especially in Phases 2 and 3, and this time around I will stick to my schedule!! Kaz, thanks very much for your valuable advice and I’ll keep you posted on my progress of reaching my goal. Also, please post a few follow up videos!! All the best!! Don
You said a couple things I needed to hear, was about to give up but I'm going to keep growing. I have that separation issue between the center and the hair that grows out from the side, a bit of a bald spot but it covers with wax..
I have the tips of phase 3 but the lip and centre section of early phase 2. Basically, an awkward handlebar that limits every "normal" eating activity and is a REALLY bad style. Defiitely doesn't match my beard. I'm just powering through in the hopes of phase 5.
I think when growing a big beard letting the mustache grow out is the most awkward and annoying part, i have caved in and trimmed it several times, however this time im just going to eat everything with a fork, drink everything with a straw , i'll use more product and just power my way through it, great video 👍🏆.
I'm struggling with my moustache too. Takes a lot of product to keep things in place. Top of my moustache always has stragglers, but I refuse to trim them, hopefully once they get longer they'll weigh down better.
I was hesitating whether to trim just below the nose area or whether to go 100% natural... I think I'll try 100% natural, in the past I've done it but it always annoys me, especially eating a hamburger for putting on a example, even using wax... I'll try to see if I can get to the point of not cutting and not bothering.
is there even a point of quitting minoxidil cold turkey? surely if you keep applying it at least once or twice a week you will get to keep 100% of your gains and a single bottle will last you like half a year?
Personally I would not want to apply it even once a week for an extended period of time. Could that work though? I don't know. No harm in quitting it cold turkey though, most people keep all of their gains if you apply consistently for 2 years
So you're basically saying having any substantial mustache at all, is one big awkward phase that never really ends, only degrees of frustration, ranging from _this sucks_ to _kill me now_ .
So me being in the military I want to grow my mustache out and it’s not bad but the middle could be a lot thicker, obviously having to maintain it and trim it,would minoxidil help even while trimming occasionally?
you have some good points but your bead and mustache look pretty much the same throughout the video. Seriously just grow both out to the max and make sure if you go to a barber show them a picture how you want it to look. Just be patient

They fake accent goes very well with the fake beard he's trying to grow.

Most useful mustache growing video I watched so far.
Right now, I'm in the separation phase. Just for everyone who really wanted to know

Sorry for the shitty lighting on this one lads, for some reason, I decided to use natural light which is why it goes bright and dark every other clip
Your natural lighting is just fine. Maybe you could avoid white backgrounds? Still looks great!
Thanks for the video it's helped me to understand the mustache journey I've embarked on

This gave me hope. Your explanation was 👌
am in my 40 weeks and my mustache still a baby while my beard look incredible
My mustache looks alot like yours with the part in the middle. Looks like I have a lot to look forward to growing my beard 🤣
I feel like I've been at phase 4 forever. These gaps are killing meeeeeee.

Thanks for sharing, very well thought out and informative!
I am your big hearted fan man 🔥

How’d that go?
@@BobRoss-wm3lc pretty good!
What about now???

The best advice video on the whole tube have a sub from me
Hussar, one question please: should I put minoxidil on my mustache too, even if it grows fuller than my beard naturally ?
"those are early quitters, eh heh heh heh" LMAO 🤣 😆 😅 😂

Pretty

The five stages of growth..
Too much wax is counter intuitive and will weigh the mustache down.
YESS!!!
That voice
jeez look at all that oil
a pro is you can smell better!
9 months? Mines longer in 2 1/2 months

Don’t cut those tails! 😢 Let’s see how they look curled up.
