      This call made me laugh for, I think, 5 minutes straight. Hubby worried I wasn't breathing enough.

    I still remember this run back after all these years. Chris Davis won me $10k in a pool at work. I was the only person to pick Auburn to win. We all watched it live together. I absolutely went nuts. Not because of the winnings but because this is one of the greatest moments on college football history and the underdog won. Plus, I got to see hated Alabama get served.

      and would go on to win the gold medal
      to this day 43 years later I still believe that was the biggest upset in sporting history

    A couple months after this happened I was at Heathrow airport in London. As I was waiting for my flight home I saw a man with an Alabama hat on so naturally I asked "Would you kick it again if you had a chance to go back?" The guy said "Too soon man" in which I replied "Oh dude I'm from Seattle, we throw at the one yard line."

    Still after 10 years is Wow. Neither of them are my team, but what a play. I remember watching live on TV. The voice of Auburn Tigers football is an absolutely amazing announcer, the pure raw emotions and what he said was absolutely epic. You could feel it deep down in your soul. To all Auburn fans.....

    Vols fan here, i remember i had just got off from work and walked into the local BWW in Knoxville moments before this play. it was absolute pandemonium. Vol fans were losing their minds. Bama fans literally could not comprehend what had just happened.
    honestly, to this day, this is probably the greatest play i’ve ever seen live in my 30-something years of watching football.

    We were never a college football family (KU fans lol) but for some reason my dad turned on the Iron Bowl in the fourth quarter one night when I was young. All I knew was that we didn't like Alabama, so I was rooting for Auburn the whole time and was happy when they won. I had no idea that I had witnessed possibly the greatest play in college football history.

    Happy 10th Anniversary from a BYU fan. One of the best announcer calls ever! WAR EAGLE. I was watching the game with my boys and I "called" the play before the kick, now named "The Kick Six." One of my top three plays of all-time.

    I went to Clemson and even though we're basically rivals (same mascot, similar schools and colors), I'm still happy to see Auburn beat Bama every time.
    I love hearing the announcer's excitement and joy. He reminds me of Todd Elliot for the Gamecocks. (I'm a Gamecock fan, btw).

      I think the Chris Davis's direct family will have full scholarships to Auburn for quite a few generations to come.
