There can never be too many diorama-making videos !! Very artistic
Nice! The shadows from the natural light look great!
Inthe Lionsden i
Tiger track! How appropriate!
Great looking base. Thanks for sharing.
"Thats when a tiger track comes in handy.."
Really Andy?? LOL
That is your typical paper weight at the Andy's Headquarters.
i mean...thats what he bought that thing for, isnt it?
ToastedWalnut Was the pun intended?
Where the hell u get tank track!?
Really like your videos. Nice to watch one in English, no goofy back ground music, no profanity and no arrogance. Just simple info and a pleasant watching experience.
I cant describe how amazing it looks...
You are such an incredible artist and craftsman. Thank-you for ALL YOUR VIDEOS.
Wow! Very very nice! Wonderful shadows and colors. Incredible.
Excellent work as always Andy. I'm watching all your videos from scratch as I've never built armour kits before, but your videos and tutorials have given me so much inspiration to try. Please keep them coming.
Andy
As always, a very well explained and clear tutorial
Thank you so much for your excellent videos
Thanks Andy I have been looking at doing a bit of water and this was great to get how easy you make it look. Very impressed with your Talent and Ideas. Looking forward to more builds. :)
gaddamn, I wish I owned a hobby shop
Josh Koehler Me too 😁
Same, but I fear I wouldn't be able to keep my hands off the merchandise before I could sell it.
It would be like a fat kid in a cake shop!!!
I'd love to start one
I have noticed that modelmaking requires deep pockets sometimes, or lots of merch sitting around to store use. just the investment in paint is killing me. Bought $600 in the last year and a half in paint and supplies for paint. Kits another $300, glue, tape styrene and other crap cost me another $200 this crap adds up when you have to buy it. I still need a rivet cutter and scribe and an organizer. I was wounded in Afghanistan and use it as therapy but have yet to find a mil discount for anything model related. I couldnt even get my local shop to help me out with info on how to do things much less get anyone to help donate stuff. I have been holding model building clinics at my house with a non-profit and I had to buy everything almost at retail, it gets bad when you buy a kit for each vet and you go through a lot of paint with 5 guys/girls building. I did buy a few airbrushes and had an artist come in to show guys how to use it. I have been getting guys at the VA hospital to come over while doing rehab so its worth it.
This gets the thumbs up from me. Splendid Diorama. BB
Thank you for your great idea and teaching how to build it
Another Excellent job by Andy's Hobby Headquarters!! Makes me want to try it but in a 1/16 scale, for some of my RC tanks.
Great piece of work and video. Gets me inspired to have a go myself at a diorama!
Great advice & ideas Andy.., a lot to learn from you there. Cheers!
Absolutely stunning
Nice build, your videos help me a lot thks, greetings from argentina.
Fantastic diorama!
Inspiring. Nice work sir. Love to make something like this for a bearded dragon home.
Got back into modelling after a long break and watching this is fascinating and instructive, thanks dood!
by far the best diorama i have ever seen! LOOKS AMAZING
I mean who doesn't have a tiger track-laying around in their garage
I have an anchor in my backyard, don'you?
@@davidcurrie6955 Sure just don't hit your small toe at night on it...gdamn that thing is huge lol. 96 links per side @ 59 pounds each. Thats 5600i ish pounds + the teeths and the holding pins. Thats around 6400 pounds per side...Gross weght for combat tracks. 13 000 pounds or close to 6 metric tonnes...thats insane. Never did the math...lmao no wonder it was fuel inefficent.
Absolutely fantastic video - really appreciate the detail you put into this tutorial. I've recently started getting back into wargaming miniatures and my young daughter and I are building trees and terrain for SW:Legion and Bolt Action; I have only ever painted WH40K miniatures - never created terrain before so tutorials, like yours, are incredibly helpful. Looking forward to seeing more.
I like this setup so much happening.
INCREDIBLE. LOOKS AMAZING! TONS OF GREAT TIPS IN HERE ABOUT HOW TO DO THIS, LOVE IT!
THANX ANDY!
Really nice work there, Andy!!! Thanks for sharing this video. I wanna make a dio like that too.
Looks great. Very informative. Thanks for posting
NICE JOB! ON EVERYTHING. AND YOU ARE RIGHT. THE TIGER DOES MAKE THE SEEN...
Another great video from Andy!
That was incredible. Best "How-to" I've ever seen.
you've got access to all the good stuff
That is very nice work, thanks for sharing it
Awsome diorama!
Andy, its just beautiful. If i ever come to the U.S ill visit you
This is what I'm talking about! I would say it's turning out pretty damn well. So much valuable information.
Thanks for this posting...I love the multi layering on the ground cover and the water effects were very convincing....I feel that the trees were a little thick and would be more realistic if they weren't quite so dense....please continue with this excellent series of posts.
Nice, for some reason it reminds me of kansas. I could see an M1A1 Abrams in the diorama, training at Ft. Riley Kansas, home of The Big Red 1
LOL!!! Was stationed at Fort Riley Kansas from 1993-2001. Retired there as well. Currently work at the Training Support Center, issuing training devices t the soldiers to train with.
Andy - that turned out really great! I've been watching a fair few videos of probably some of the best scenery modellers out there and this is as good as theirs! I've yet to build a diorama like this but you're a great source for inspiration and technique!
Well done!
you have done a great job on the diorama look amazing
Great looking work. I can only hope to develop these type of skills one day.
Amazing work, love the detail and an awesome result.
I let out a long ''whoooaaaa'' when I saw what the natural light did to it. Amazing as usual Andy.
the Plaster is easy to spread with your hand! (Sometimes it’s good with a stick as shown in the video)
Wish I had a tiger track handy haha
Love the work, awesome scene.
what can I say? you are a true artist. You take such care to get it right
You folks doing this stuff are amazing. I paint and build models but wish I had the time and patience to take it to your level. Still, I enjoy seeing the state of the art. Kudos!
Amazing modelling once again, I tip my hat to you
I hope to build my first ever diorama in the next coming weeks, this video was really helpful and has given me some great ideas! Thank you Andy!
Were you successful
That's an awesome diorama! Great work!
Nice I like the instructions. I want to build a diorama for some dragon soldiers 1/6 scale. I am thinking a short wall with building in background. I wish I was as awesome model builder like you. Thanks Greg. MSG Queen Retired Army.
Pretty cool and nice music 🖒
Congrats Andy. A fantastic looking dio and a really well presented tutorial. I've not attempted a diorama before but this video makes the prospect a lot less daunting and given me a few ideas on how to make a start. Awesome work. Cheers!
great work thanks for up this video i learn a lot i wish some day do that
Beautiful diorama. As always!!!👍👍👍
All your work looks top notch you have inspired me to try them, your explanations don't make them seem out of reach for mere hobby mortals like me.
Looks great Andy, thank you for this great diorama tutorial :) im really looking forward to more of these, as always your videos are wonderful
The level of detail is incredible! You make these look so easy lol
Looks good sir! Specially outside. Thanks for sharing!
I'm a bit sad to hear about the train diorama, that would've been awesome, but I understand space constraints.

SCP 002 Porsche
Really enjoyed that, thanks. Sorry to hear about the train diorama - that's what first brought me here - but it would be great to see more of your models on dioramas. With figures. No pressure!
Very useful indeed. 👍🇬🇧
Always excited to see a new vid pop up from you Andy! Love that Dio, can't wait to see it in person!!
it looks fantastic i would love to see a snow one with a frozen river
formidable travail monsieur
c est un plaisir de voir le résultat
je suis abonné merci pour le plaisir des yeux
Hmmm? I used to do a lot
of topographic sketches of familiar streets.
Never thought of transitioning them into dioramas.
A really brilliant diorama , it looked really good in the natural light , i think it would have looked good with some Spanish civil war figures , but of course you would have to not have put tiger tracks on it , i cant make models any more but i love watching you videos , thanks for the great builds .
And you all thought a tiger track that was something you put on a tank ! Great video Andy got a lot of great ideas , tanks so much from northern AZ .
The rippling water technique is just brilliant!!!!
Now, under the sunlight even the German soldier was delighted!!!
So impressive you blew me away with this one. Very nice work
Lovely work man, real lovely.
I've been watching your vids since I started modelling, a year and half ago, but this and your latest diorama vid have really lifted the bar.
Many do build videos, a few do diorama build videos, but not many do great diorama build videos. Not just a work of art to look at, but also extremely informative.
Nice weight !. Andy a lovely video , very informative. Thanks for posting.
now this i found hugely interesting to watch for tips and ideas, this is the dream and future goal to do, big fan of your work
I don't know how this video got into my recommendations but I'm glad it showed up.
Awesome job! You had me in hysterics when you brought out that Tiger track!
Looks great in th e natural light
I wish I had a shop like this near me I need pointers lol
Very nice and informative vid. If you wanna try something alittle diffrent from off-the-shelf products made for diorama building. try using dried herbs and spices. like Oregano, Sage and stuff like that. They make exelent leafs and also general folage for groundwork and bushes.
I have also used twigs and small branches to make trees and logs. Works like a charm :)
Superb work Andy! Thanks for sharing mate
Your grass is not really standing. Was something wrong with the static applicator?
Потрясающе!!!
looks fantastic I love you to do a ship one and how you do the water.
The river looks cool!
Beautiful buddy! I really want to start my first diorama and this has inspired me! I think your amazing and you make some beautiful models and scenery... And Im unsure just who would dislike this video...but there 208 of them!
Great stuff Andy very inspirational thanks
it looks amazing, out in the sun even better
Very good
Wow! looks real!
That is awesome! it would be awesome to do this in 1/12 scale. :D
Very very nice, good job, thank you.
Nice counter weight Andy! The diorama looks great!! I'll be by to see it later this week! Joe
amazing work
Nice work on the diorama with plenty of technique and interest. Sorry to hear about the railway diorama, but I can completely understand a) how big it would have been and b) how it would have filled your store! ;-) You did inspire me when you were building the individual kits though - I may try to build something like it but in 1/76, HO, 00 scale, depending on what's available. Cheers.
Your outfit is exactly what I expected. Khaki cargo shorts, whiteish sneakers and high white socks XD. Thanks for the tutorial love the video
That part with Tiger track LMAO... love your videos Andy. Beautiful work by the way :)
