Why is this either….surely he could manage both….?

I'm crying, my inner child imagined doing this...but now I'm a tired, broke and traumatized adult. Thank you for this, though, gives me hope that one day I can just go make models and a diorama like this.
God I’m sorry to hear that.
Don't worry. Life will get better, it always does.
why wait? there's a lot of places you can get free materials. there's also a lot of DIY workshops you can go to to use their tools and supplies. just start doing a little bit of work, you'll find it gives you energy!
I hope you are able to try at some point, please try whenever you can. I recently began building small diorama's, nothing special or super realistic, just a dirt road, grass and some trees lol but wow it is so much fun. Really is an amazing feeling when it all comes together. So please don't give up hope for it.

I'm making a few large dioramas depicting the climactic and tragic end of the Nephite nation around the Hill Cumorah. I've never done anything like this before, and I'm using cardboard and anything I can get for close to nothing. No one asked me to do this but I felt I needed to, and watching these videos keeps me motivated. So thank you.

I feel like Jazza would really enjoy the book "The Name of the Wind"
Then he can join the rest of us as we wait for the next book. What's it been? 11 years since The Wise Man's Fear came out?
Really? I enjoyed the first book, the second book just became so..... Horny OP character who is super great at everything he does is Horny and OP. Woopdefuckindo.
I love how Jazza is basically living every DM's dream! If I had the space I would definitely do something similar... I've done a tiled Hexcrawl using the tiles he showed off in this vid. Seriously incredible
I’m a 50 yr old woman, no kids, who loves more traditional sketching and watercolours. I found Jazza’s site through some coloured pencil reviews and figured I’d watch one video only. I’m now subscribed and watch every video, just to see this young man’s joy and inspiration in pure ‘creating’. I can only imagine the amount of children & adults he is inspiring, and that alone makes me love every video, whether I understand what he’s doing or not. Jazza’s soul was destined to share, teach, and inspire creativity. We need more people in our world like him.
Couldn’t agree more
Very well said

Bro, 50 year olds don’t go on RUclips
It's just so cool to have your very own little world, and you could give it it's own story or it's history.
For the past 5 years or so I will randomly see your videos pop up on the feed. Anything from drawing new superheroes to this amazing video I have just seen. I am always super delighted and fulfilled when I see how happy you are when you do what you love! Thank you for showing us all what you love to do. Can't wait to check out everything else I have been missing! Much love brother.
There's nothing more precious in this world than to see a grown up's face glow up with emotion while talking about something or someone they care.
I wish for you all to feel this way multiple times during the next years to come. Lots of love to Jazza, his family and everyone here. ♡
As a writer who enjoys worldbuilding too much, and loves to create maps, I have never felt so much envy of another person as watching this video. I loved the project. I hope one day to have the opportunity to do something similar with some of the many maps that I have made.
I think building digital worlds is probably faster and allows for even more detail. I'm sure there are many great programs for digital map building out there.
If you really want a irl model, CNC and 3D printing might be efficient options to make them.
Then you "just" have to do the painting and details to have a similar result. But with this approach it should be pretty easy to do everything step by step, possibly building parts of your world at a time and later joining them together.
Having kids might be useful they say. The piloted helicopter is not for the kid.
did he say tahiti?
meanwhile Dutch van der linde: WE GOTTA GO ARTHUR
arthur: WE DONT HAVE ENOUGH MONEH
Finally a medium of art that Jazza has the patience to be genuinely good at!
I almost thought that Jazza forgot about the rivers and when he did the rivers it just made me appreciate the little details.
My goodness this is insane!! I'm an architecture student and we have to constantly make models of the things we design.
I just wanna say that I will never again complain about how difficult and how long it takes to make the models. My teachers would loose their sh*t if I brought something to this calibre to class.
Do iiiit! Just make sure you love the project you pick, otherwise it'd be a pain; you wouldn't enjoy it.
I just found your channel searching diorama builds. I am so amazed by this build. Awesome work!!
Duuuuude! This looks amazing, this is the kind of content I love! I've wanted to get into stuff like this for as long as I can remember, but money issues have always prevented me from it. But your videos are enough motivation to keep practicing my traditional art, in the hopes that I can make a living off it enough to get into the more fun stuff! Never stop doing what you love, dude!
What I love so much about this is that there is no need for a "why", it is just pure, raw, unbridled creativity and that is so important. Keep up the amazing work dude, love your passion and excitement
I love how calm he is when he says “im making a world”

I'm completely unsurprised that Jazza would have gone overboard on making his tabletop map like this, and it turned out STUNNING! All the detail, the sheer size of it, the passion, that makes content like this worth watching!
This was an amazing thing to stumble onto! Super impressive!
I know this comment a bit late but i liked the map .. incredible details :3 .. only bit of advice i can give is after the resin cure if you brush tap apply some watered modge pod (not to much) and give it a blow with a straw it creates miniature waves ... it adds soo much to miniature water gives it a incredible texture. Modge pod becomes transparent after it dries so it only gives it a texure. If you wanna take it one step ahead you can use some whites close to shores where waves breaking for more immersity. This is the only criticism i can make bcs sea looks too flat :3 other than that great work !
My thoughts exactly--some waves crashing into the cliffs beneath the tower/cities would be amazing. Could also add it in some spots on the rivers to indicate that those areas are rough waters. For a project this big and with the amount of supplies he has--I'd imagine he could use an airbrush rather than blowing in a straw (or a 'can of air') but a straw works just as well (just be sure to take some breaks to avoid getting light headed).
i love seeing his inner child come out, theres so much authenticity behind his passion and creativity
You should definitely get in contact with the guys at Critical Role. They recently started a new campaign, but you guys could collaborate and create something awesome for campaign 4!

And I'm not even remotely skilled enough to draw out a whole map but I feel so inspired.
