Metal is NOT at all a thing in Eurovision, so I think it would be cool to have your insight on the song and what it might represent for metal (as it'll be broadcasted on tv to an entire continent). And btw do you think it differs from the american modern metal sound? Keep up the good content

Aye my baby boy Austin. You should check out a band called Destiny Potato (I think the name is terrible too). They're a tech metal band and they kinda sound like Periphery but with a female singer. They are pretty cheesy and they have a songs that just awful which is "Take a Picture", but their album Lun is pretty solid. I recommend you look up the song "Blue Sun". That or "Love Song" are my favorite songs on that record.

Might end up sounding like a bit of a snob here, but honestly I haven't really been digging much new stuff these guys have put out. I first discovered these guys a few years ago when Abandonment popped up on my youtube feed. I feel like their new stuff is somewhat lacking. To me at least. I remember hearing that BS were coming out with some new stuff and being super-hyped and then they dropped Closer To Hell and I just remember sitting there like "oh. Is this it?" I guess it didn't really help that Closer To Hell had this really weak ass guitar tone, which seems to have changed with the other singles they've dropped, which is good. I kinda feel like the stuff I really liked about Abandonment was gone. The ambient horror sounds that backed up the chugging guitar riffs are gone, which sucks IMO, because they gave off this feeling of just absolute fucking despair. I feel like they're doing less stuff like the breakdowns at the end of Spineless and Abandonment, which I really liked. I just feel like I have no reason to listen to them over any other Beatdown band anymore. They're definitely not bad and I could definitely groove to it if a friend put it on or it came on at a party or something, but their new stuff seems forgettable. Sorry this turned into kind of a huge wall of text but I loved these guys and it just sucks when you like a band so much and then they end up putting out stuff that you find disappointing.
